I am really sad to see the injury to TG :( :( He has been a total stud for us. I am not writing him off yet.

I will admit that TG and Romo have not been in sync.

I will be excited to see Hurd get a bunch more playing time. Romo and Hurd have had really good chemistry since preseason.

Parcells has really heaped some impressive comments about Miles so I can't wait to watch him do the KR.

Don't expect too much from Hurd or Austin. Their both rookies and rookie WR's rarely make an impact

Why is Crayton not getting TG's spot? He's more proven than both those guys.

Because Parcells said he wants to limit him to the 35 plays he's getting now.

Parcells raved about Austin in his press conference yesterday. Don't be surprised to see him play a bit.

Parcells also said that he liked Crayton playing in the spot where he is at. I think he believes that Crayton's best position is in the slot.

I am definitely looking forward to watching the young guys, i want to see if our future at WR is on the roster, or at least part of our future at WR.

So rookie WRs really do much in their first season. Well, some certainly do. Wait til you catch WR Colston of the Saints; he was an 2006 7th round pick for them and won the starting job. Now he's the leading rookie WR for Rookie of the Year. Saw this kid on Sunday against the Bucs. It was his 2nd straight 100+ yard game; he's big, good hands, keeps his concentration, etc. Don't remember how many catches he made, but he caught every thing thrown to him and had to reach for several of them. I had hoped Cowboys would have drafted him if he available late in the draft but they didn't. We'll get a chance to see Colston when we play the Saints and you can be sure that Sean Peyton knows how to use him. Frankly, I think if Peyton was our H/C Romo would have started earlier then he did and our offense would be even better then it is. BTW: Peyton's offense was very aggressive against the Bucs and didn't make mistakes--no penalties--unlike our Cowboys.

I don't know why anyone would want to see 2 undrafted rookie free agents see the field....if that happens normally it means something is wrong....in this case our starting WR has a knee injury and our 4th round draft pick can't handle the load......so again i ask.....why is anyone happy to "see" what these guys can do....i'll take them sitting on the bench or practice squad for the rest of the year thank you.....i do like Hurd on sp teams though...

Well, you do know that older players cannot play forever, right? Just because the young guys have not seen any real NFL action so far does not mean nothing...

Case in point...does Romo ring a bell?

Yep.

I'm not believing any more hype that I read. Heck, Canty, Spears, Ware, etc were going to make this defense Doomsday II.

It would be great if the back up WR's were quality guys.

But I'm waiting to see it on the field.
