Well, let's see-- the Boys ranked 23rd in pass defense last season... they gave up the 8th highest quarterback rating allowed... they allowed the 8th highest number of completions of 20 yards or more... they were 10th in first down percentage allowed... this despite the fact they were 7th in sacks...

A knowledgeable football fan would look at those stats and recognize that the problem here was their cover guys, especially their cornerbacks... therefore, most fans with a lick of sense would agree that upgrading their secondary was a high priority going into this offseason... the Cowboys obviously agreed, and they made their biggest financial commitment in free agency to cornerback Brandon Carr...

So, the Boys have a need at defensive back, and they go out and draft the consensus best corner in this draft, a player they said graded out higher than any other corner they've graded since Deion Sanders...

And you think this is a BAD thing??

That is merely a function of formality in a chain of command set up. It involves a scrutiny by a top line medical group and their investigations as well...on a team, and not referal service.
