I see nothing wrong with giving Crawford an incentive-laden deal soon that would encourage him to give his very best and simultaneously reward both himself and the team as the fortunate beneficiaries of his talent.
Let him play out his contract.
You folks act like he is some kind of ALL PRO that needs to be locked up for the long term.
I doubt he puts up big time numbers to warrant a big contract extension.
