Why all of the hatred/animosity towards Romo or Henson?

I see hypocrisy dripping from both sides in this issue....and before you say anything about me, let me make my position clear....I still don't think that our "franchise QB" is yet on the team.

It seems that those in the Henson camp can't find anything but faults against Romo, and vice versa.

These are our BACK-UP QB's folks....NOT our starter.

Romo hasn't done anything for the animosity carried around by some here. It seems that some posters that like Romo have really grated on people that back Henson and therefore, they take it out on Romo.

Romo had a good game last night, yet it is down-played. Why?

The knock on Henson is that they see Chutch again....strong arm....all the intangibles, etc....but we heard that crap with Chutch. Not comparing him to Chutch as I do think he is better than Chutch.

But Henson hasn't done anything to anyone else here so why the animosity for him as well?

It's gotten beyond ridiculous and I'm interested in some "honest" answers....although I doubt that I will get very many.

These 2 sides are still divided by the last arguments. Thus it is more personal conflicts between posters than anything to do with either QB. Don't be honest, it won't be received well.

Nothing has changed. Remember when I predicted this? You told me once "they" were gone it would settle down. Nope.

I would like to see the personal feelings for other posters left out of the equation....but I think that would be an exercise in futility.

The discussion back then was who should be starting... this one is about who should be #2 and who should be #3. It's pretty dang sad, lol.

Honestly

I'm neither PRO Henson or Romo, But at the same time I'm not against Romo.

I don't think henson is the answer, and think the only reason he's here is because he couldn't cut it in Baseball. If he could have stayed in baseball even in the minors I think he would have. I questioned his heart for FB when we made the move to get him. This offseason showed me a lot he gave 100% to the team, and I respect him for that but I don't see him being the QB for us in the future and look at him more as a Jerry Jones pet project. If I'm wrong and he becomes a good QB I'll admit I was wrong I just don't think he will.

Honestly I don't care who our QB is (as long as its not McScabb) as long as we are winning, and I think Drew B will have a good year as long as we get our O-line straight.

I don't see it as who is #2 and who is #3, I doubt the others do either. Romo may very well be Bledsoe's backup this year, though its too early to make that decision. Many of us just don't see any future for Romo as the starter, but we do see a future in Henson if he continues to develop. I actually have refrained by posting too much on this subject because I really don't want to rag on Romo because he did play well, I just believe he is limited and will only be successfull in a backup role. I really don't see anyone changing their minds anytime soon and want to let this debate go.

If you think back I said neither should be starting. This time I disagree. Though I am pretty sure Bledsoe is our starter I prefer to get Henson time. It won't happen so I'll just enjoy the waves.

Surf's up.
