Seems to be a lot of 'noise in the system'.

How long before WADA gets involved?

The people claiming al-Jazeera is not credible, apparently think Fox and CNN are credible... What interest would al-Jazeera have in targetting Manning specifically?

And witnesses may recant, because they've probably signed privacy disclosures with athletes that use them. They would subject themselves to civil liability and lawyers of the athletes probably contacted the witness and threatened him with all sorts of legal actions if he continued down that path.

Uh, ratings...mindshare...clicks....views....things that drive advertising rates of course.

Al Jazeera typically doesn't produce news for americans and this is one ploy to get a bigger mindshare in America. Too bad they aren't very credible.

I don't buy it. Ignoring the fact that I think Manning is smart enough not to do something like that and have the HGH sent to his wife, I just am not sure I trust al Jazeera to do a serious, in depth investigative report.

What do you mean? They investigated this for an entire month!!!

Al-Jazeera has had a branch for years now that targets America.

The article was on sports doping. Getting ratings does not have to contradict a credible story.

And they used a British hurdler to go underground in Brazil and investigating for a month, and mentioned plenty of names. Others focused on Manning specifically because he's such a huge name.

What are you talking about?

The focus on Manning though takes away from the real issue, which is how easy it is to obtain PEDs, how easy it is beat the system particularly when you know the time frame your getting tested and the professional sports associations basically just giving it some weight because of public perception.

Well, theses days, people only talk if they believe what they're saying due to a little thing called a Civil Lawsuit. So IMO, this cat ain't makin it up becaue surely the Manning Dynasty attorneys are already monitoring this guy 24/7

I don't know if the story is true or not but I will say this. Al Jazeera is not worried about Civil Lawsuits. Their funding does not come from, nor is it effected by American Dollars.

I'm no fan of Peyton Manning, but I don't think he did what is being alleged here.

I'm talking about Al Jazeera trying to smear people to generate clicks. I thought that was pretty clear in my post.

Do you work for Al Jazeera or something?

Who do they smear to generate clicks in light of news such as TMZ and Fox News and ESPN as it relates to guys like Hardy?

Honestly don't care if he took HGH. If you don't realize that the majority of pro athletes are on a "special diet", then I reckon you're at least a little naive.

Only the ones that get caught are "cheaters" who end up crucified by the media and fans.

exactly....Why did he have to go to Germany to get help? Doesn't America have the best Drs and medicine in the world? All that trip did was buy him some time to dodge testing. "Test me when I get back into the States"......

I think some stem cell therapy is illegal in the United States. That's why he would go to Germany.
