He is the real deal and I would love for him to be the next great Cowboy RB.

He already has 4 TDs today, short power runs and long homeruns up the middle.

He can do it all and if we don't go for Goff I would love Easy E.

If we trade down, I'd be all over it. Use the extra picks we get to move back up into the first and draft Wentz, then grab the best CB available with our 2nd. Win!

#4 is still way too high for him, but if we were to trade back then he's a very realistic candidate.

Love Elliott but couldn't justify him @ 4. I think he is a can't miss player in the first round.

He is really really good, wouldn't use our first on him. He won't be there for our second so a trade would be needed either up or down.

He's a hell of a runner, that's for sure. I'm not sure he's well rounded enough to go into the top half of the first round though. From what I've read and seen of him, he's not a good pass catcher and not a good pass protector.

That would be the plan. Get him at 14ish and still get another 2nd and/or third.

I don't know about protections but I haven't seen any awkwardness when catching the ball.

They said today he was good as a catcher and a pass protector. But #4 is still too high for him.

I have only watched 3 actual games of his (2015 Michigan, 2015 Virginia Tech, 2014 Wisconsin), so I don't have a large sample size to pull from using my own experience.

The few scouting reports said that they would like to see him work on his pass catching and pass protecting. From what I watched, those were the only things I felt weren't impressive.

I guess I should've worded it differently. It's not that he's awful. It's more like, if he did those things as well as he runs the ball, he'd be one of the more impressive and complete backs in the draft in a while.

In my opinion, Zeke is a viable pick from #10 on down.

Are you implying that he is as good as Gurley? I haven't seen enough of him to know, but #10 is where Gurley went (coming off an injury).

I'm curious to see where he gets drafted at. There aren't many teams in desperate need of a RB. That combined with the fact that RBs in today's NFL are so devalued could lead to a fall for him.

The Giants could use a RB, but I'm almost positive they'll go for a pass rusher. The Colts could too, but they need an OT worse.

After those two, maybe the Texans take him? Who knows.

No way. Gurley is widely regarded as one of the best RBs to come out of college in a long time.

Edit: That being said, in no way is Elliott a bad RB. He's an incredibly talented runner.

I don't want an RB in the first unless it's from 20-32, and there is no justifiable reason we'll be given to trade that far back. Pick up an RB in the second or third.

I think he might be. 6' 225lb runs a 4.32 and was a track and field star in HS, including the 200m, hurdles and more.
