I hope Zeke is better than Edge.


Edge played on a lot of teams that were selling out against the pass and in the early stages of Mannings career nobody really knew how to slow Manning down and were confused by all of the pre-snap stuff.

Edge was good though.

I understand that ........ but ya know what? I am tired of playing it safe ....... lowering my expectations ......... Forget Jerry Jones and how he messes everything up ........ I am not gonna lower my expectation with this kid ...... I think he is gonna be special and thats what I am gonna demand.

Swinging for the fences 1300 yards and 12 TD is my floor with this kid in his rookie year ...... dont care.

That's very doable as long as he stays healthy all season

Given the OL Elliott will have in front of him I think expectations should be very high for this kid. RB will normally show day 1 what they are capable of because it is such an instinctual position. What I see in Elliott are the traits of a great RB size, strength, vision. great balance, quickness to hit the hole and speed to take it the distance as well as his ability in the passing game to block and receive. He may be a rookie but barring any big injuries I will be disappointed if he is not in the top 3 RB at the end of the season.
