What are the odds that Zeke will become Offensive Rookie of the Year?

Well I think from a running back perspective he is the odds on favorite. The only running back picked anywhere close to Zeke was Derrick Henry who will split his carries with Murray.

QBs are the odds on favorite to take the honors here, but I still think Goff was overrated here. I don't think anyone was calling him the #1 overall pick a year ago. I think when it comes to WR there were no franchise standouts in this draft.

I don't think the conditions could have been any better for Zeke to get OROY.

I'd say conservatively 70%. One key condition no one should ever mention applies. Rhymes with wealth. And it's not stealth.

With this OL, if he stays healthy, he's a lock.
With one caveat, we have to throw down field, teams are playing us shallow, we have to back them off for the kid to explode.

Alot depends on what the QBs do. QBs usually trump skill players for OROY. Either of Goff or Wentz start 16 games, have 20+ TDs and a QBR over 85 it would probably take more then 2K all purposes yards and 12 + TDs for a HB to win

Goff is the odds on favorite according to the books

Quick question and I don't mean to hijack the thread...does Zeke remind anyone of LT?

I watched some Tomlinson clips last night...Definitely some similarities...what a player that guy was...wow

I think he definitely has a shot to do so this year. He should be a really good player for us. I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do here.

This team doesn't have anything else interesting worth talking about...and by interesting, I mean exciting

So, this sudden transformation of Stephen Jones into a task master who is telling it like it is does not excite you?

Elliott should finishing in the top 2 and has a good shot at winning if the Rams don't make the playoffs.

He may.

If the Rams do decent next year, and Goff puts up good numbers, then I could see a tough decision on OROY.
Especially since the Rams just moved to LA, new potential franchise QB drafted, blah blah blah, it would be good marketing for the league. All dependent on Goff not sucking though.

And, you'll have some critics saying that EE has a great line to run behind and it's expected. And, I doubt he'll be given the same carries as Murray did in 2014. I still expect the Cowboys to do a 65-35/70-30 split on carries his first year here.

Peterson averaged 18 carries a game his rookie year, along with Gurley.

Recently, only Doug Martin has averaged 20 carries a game his rookie year*

I still believe EE is the favorite, but I don't think it's a lock.

If either of the QB's are good, they'll have the edge over Zeke.

That said, you take a RB 4th overall and you have this offensive line, he better be in the running for OROY.

Hard to say really. He's in an excellent position to succeed with our O-line, but more times than not, it seems like things never work out just how you expect them to. I thought Hardy was going to do more here than he did, so I'm not going to expect Elliott to be utterly amazing his first year in. If he does, great, but I'm not going to expect it and then get disappointed.
