FA and the Draft Predictions

After reading all your opinions out there, here's my best guess for how free agency and the draft might be shaping up:

1. Free Safety - sign someone in Free Agency (Hope?)
2. Outside Linebacker - trade down if possible and still pick up a potential starter (Lawson or Carpentar) *
3. Inside Linebacker - Free Agent signing (Is Witherspoon a possibility here?)
4. NoseGuard - draft someone like Littlejohn in the middle to late rounds

Offense
1. Right Tackle - Free Agent Signing - add a vetern (Fabini?). We already have four decent, young guys competing for two back up spots.
2. Center/Guard - possible Free Agent, but only if it's going to be a starter (Bentley would be nice, but not necessary)
3. Reciever - this is the wildcard and would like to see them draft young talent, like maybe Moss. (Just say "No TO")
4. Quarterback - draft Whitehurst in the mid-rounds.

*(If we get an outside lineback in FA (McGinest), then maybe we go with a receiver like Holmes or RT like McNeal in the first round of the draft).

Oh yeah, pick up Vinatiera or Longwell while we're at it. That's four or five free agent signings, which is probably a lot, but what we need.

I like it. Sounds good, if this happened, I would be very happy. Who is Whitehurst? Who did he play for? And also, I think we should draft a guard in the second round. The best guard available at that time.

This is a quarterback who is gifted with both physical and athletic skill, along with the intangibles you look for in a player behind center
He has the size, mobility, and shows the confidence in the pocket to lead his team down the field on a consistent basis
He is more of a pocket passer than anything else at this point in his career, with a quick release, and has the mobility and arm strength to throw on the run, and has the the ability to scramble once he is outside the pocket area
He is also willing to stand in the pocket to complete the pass, even when he feels the hit coming, which is a important trait to have as a quarterback, he also posses a good array of touches on various passes, and as a passer he is not afraid to make a mistake, which I find important, because to become a successful quarterback you have to be willing to take instinctive chances on the field, and he maintains eye contact with the receivers down field to allow him to make plays
He maintains a good rhythm and pace to the offense during the course of a game, and brings a air of confidence to offense and the players around him, which is important to have the other players around you believe in and have the confidence in your ability to always give them a chance to win
He is a quarterback to watch for

sounds like a really good prospect...
