worst penalty ever?

I think if a defender avoids contact and does not interfere with the receiver, he should be able to play any technique he wants and even knock the ball down with his back...the idea that you have to turn your head and look for the ball seems idiotic to me as long as you don't touch the receiver...I think it should only be an interference penalty if you bump the receiver without playing the ball.

just jumping up with your back turned to the quarterback is a worthy penalty...
Ganja;1325060 said:It's already tough enough on defenders as it is, why penalize them for being in proper position to defend the pass and has absolutely no contact with the receiver, yet doesn't get his head turned around to see the ball?
Sorry but I just don't agree with the ruling.
