Pretty fair and balanced assessment of Dak Prescott's strengths and areas where he needs to improve. Something for both fans and non-fans of Prescott.

So a rookie to 3rd year QB's need to improve? LOL

Wow, glad we have a bunch of high flying idiots on this site to state the obvious. LOL

Nothing that we didn't already know but I stopped watching after he said Dak doesn't have problems with his feet:huh:

Dak's flat footed over throws are always going to be there. Dak struggling to throw floaters is always going to be there. But his timing with his wide receivers will get better and his downfield accuracy will get better. He really needs to learn how to throw the ball away instead of taking sacks. 26 to 28 a year is fair.

    Trevor Lawrence 2021.

Except everyone that has watched him in practice say the opposite. He is no longer throwing knuckleballs or overthrows.

Hopefully, this carries over into the regular season.

You have NO CLUE about QB play or QB development. Don't act like you do.

Like you are some kind of QB expert because you can reference TOM BRADY whenever it's convenient. LOL

That would be great. Maybe he could make the pro bowl again and lead us into the playoffs. LOL

They'll be back as soon as the real games start and he's not playing in a fluorescent jersey. If all it took was hard work to make your flaws go away, Tim Tebow would be coming off his seventh straight MVP award.

By the time Dak retires from being the Cowboy's starter you'll be in a home drooling on yourself. Enjoy the next 10 - 15 years troglodyte.

Finally......someone with actual criticisms and something to back it up with. Props to him. Hard to disagree with him. I don't even know off its just man coverage. Seems like he doesn't attack the middle of the field often regardless of coverage. Nice video.

LOL. Sounds like someone is getting nervous about Dak's upcoming season.

If Dak’s actually improving, as is being claimed, then he’ll definitely lead us past the divisional round this season...right?

Hard to disagree with anything he said and explains why some folks love Dak for all of his strengths and why some people are scared to death we are stuck with a dud because of his limitations.

If he really has improved attacking the sidelines downfield then we are going to be in really good shape.

Who knows. Dak has been improving for 3 years but the Cowboys did better his rookie year.

    One would hope.

I can't remember any QB with 6 new WRs and a busted OL setting the world on fire with the deep game

funny no one questioned his deep game when Dez and Twill were healthy, and we had a LG

mostly they need to get Dak clean through his second read and get him out of the pocket more often

and a full offense with familiar targets goes a long way

BTW, the big issue I had with Dak was his short touch, that got fixed last off season, seems easier to fix deep touch

And what limitations would those be? I always get a kick out of the QB experts that know that a 1st, 2nd, 3rd year QB doesn't improve.

Seems like the complaints have been footwork, reading defenses, anticipation, consistency on accuracy when pressured.

That list right there is a text book list of things QB's typically can improve upon with coaching, repetition, and experience.

Here is a list of things that you rarely see a QB improve on:

Leadership, clutch, work ethic, dual threat, toughness, intangibles, poise, durability, heart, competitiveness.

All these things Dak is already top notch at from day 1.

Its seems like the Romo cry babies have it all backwards. Its going to be a difficult year for the haters.

I have a feeling the narrative, like with Romo, will fade from individual statistics to "team accomplishments"

"they will never win a SB with Dak" "They will never beat Brady", "Daks salary will cripple the team" ect…...ect….

Saw it with Romo and it will be the same with the Dak trolls.

    LOL...……...now its short touch?

Gotta admire all the little things people want to complain about.

Winning rookie of the year and 2 pro bowls in 3 years is a joke, but a few errant short passes is something to crow about?

    Funny stuff.
