I say Falcons. Let's bury the Skins and we can take care of Atlanta ourselves later on.

Eh, I don't really care. We got into this stuff last year, I would rather take care of our own business and everything will sort it self out.

We play Atlanta, so we can take care of them, we don't need the Commanders.

I will quote myself from a different thread:

Danny White said:
Listen... I understand people rooting for the Skins over the Panthers last week. I'll give you a "pass" on that.

But it has to stop now!

There's no purpose in rooting for them over the Falcons. The Falcons aren't doing anything this year. And if we take care of our business, we should finish a full 2-3 games over them.

If the Redsk*ns win this game, however, their fans will become increasingly insufferable as the weeks go on. They're already convinced that they can make the playoffs and that Campbell is some kind of saviour.

So, in summary, the Redsk*ns are the devil. No more rooting for them!!! I mean it!

I say Commanders... because then they will still not make playoffs and they will get a mediocre draft pick by not finishing with a terrible record.....

Never mind... I forgot that they dont pick from the draft anymore:lmao:

I don't think either of these teams are going to make the playoffs anyway so it doesn't matter. I NEVER root for the Commanders (though I was happy to see them take Carolina down) and I won't root for them this weekend. I hope Atlanta thrashes them and then we beat the Falcons with an ugly stick

I will root for the Commanders this week as painful as it is. The less teams Dallas has to compete with for a playoff slot the better in my opinion. We all know the Commanders suck so who cares if they win one meaningless game. Plus the more the skins win late in the year the worse draft spot they will get. Let them get hot now that their season is over.

Go Falcons!

The Skins pick goes to Denver anyway.

So we need to root for Denver too so it hurts the Skins pick.

the rule here is to NEVER to root for the Skins!

I'll admit that I didn't mind Carolina losing last week though.
However, if it comes down to the Redskinks playing against Satan himself...as a Cowboy, you have to hope for a 0-0 tie.

Atlanta may not be mathematically eliminated, but they are imploding and Vick is helping the meltdown as always. I love to see Vick's teams collapse because he is so overrated. However, I DEFINITELY want to see Atl beat Wash soundly because I don't want to hear how Jason Campbell is going to be as good as Romo. I don't want to hear how Jason Campbell is their savior. I want Jason Campbell to fail miserably because if he does, there is NO saving the entire Redstinks team and Gibbs will likely retire, only to add more chaos to that antichristal organization. And that is exactly where I want them to be. And I want all other potential coaches that are good coaches who may be available, like Fisher and Cowher, to be very scared away from taking the Skins' job because of the mess that's been made and their little PoS owner.

No, it only goes to Denver if the picks are near each other and not of very high value.

The skins won't have to give up a high pick.

Atlanta. Washington beating Carolina was good for us, but the very sight of it made me want to vomit. It really did. I can't stand it when they win.

What matters most is that we beat Atlanta. Period. The game this week has zero impact from a strength of victory standpoint because we will have beaten both teams when all is said and done.

WRONG! Only if they're both picking in the 20's in the first round. Doubtful this happens.

Most of you guys got it all wrong. We pull for the Skins and here's why.
We want, we need that #2 seed and the onlyguarantee we get it is to win out finishing 12-4. Mind you I'm assuming Seattle gets thier 5th loss at Denver.
Ok if we take care of business against NY and NO we will be 9-4. If Atlanta losses at Washington and at T.B. they will have 8 losses, (5-8)
With Carolina and NO at 8-5 and the Giants at perhaps 7-6.
In this fairly likely senario they could be eliminated from the playoffs. If not officially at least realistically. One of the best matchups to have late in the season is a team that has just been eliminated from the playoffs the week before.
I've seen it a hundred times. These teams can not get up for that next game. It's impossible. The intensity level plumets and the entire weekly routine is turned upside down. What follows is often their worst performance of the year and a loss. After that one let down game they often except their fate and go about the business of playing for pride and do play better for any remaining games.
Atlanta is our last road game. Our last real potential land mine.
Question is do you want to go on the road to play a 7-6 or 6-7 fighting like hell for that last wild card spot. Or do you want a defeated, perhaps eliminated team that might just roll over.
Oh here's a little bonus. Why not let Wash get on roll. They have games remaining with Philly, NO, Stl and the Giants. MAYBE THEY HELP US OUT!

Myself I'm not going to pull for either team, one team will win and one will lose and as long as Dallas takes care of their own business it really does not matter about what happens in the falcons/skins game.
