A friend of mine, who has a strange way of viewing things, because he is blinded by hate to most things.
He used to like the Cowboys, until they got rid of Tom, then they won with Jimmy, so he liked them again...now 20 years later he hates them, hates Romo, hates Jerry, because they got rid of Jimmy.

However he did say back in January, that Dallas needs to draft Dak Prescott in the 2nd round.. I told him I had no problem with Dak, but needs to be in the 4th. Possibly the 3rd depending on the combines and such. He does like Dak, so hasn't said anything bad recently, except his hate for Jerry. That's his opinion, so I don't argue with him on that too much. He is too hard headed to think otherwise, about anything.

To put his thinking in perspective. He was a big Rangers fan, maybe still is to a degree. But he thinks Nolan Ryan is the best pitcher ever. and his accomplishments were all in a Rangers uniform. He was happy when Nolan was part of the group that took over and bought the Rangers. Now that he is gone, he hates all things the team does. Saying that he will help his son in Houston, make them an annual WS contender, and that the Rangers will start to suck. Because he was the guy that got them to the WS, twice. Well, that hasn't happened yet of Houston overtaking them.

His mind is flawed........as you should listen to his political stuff...no matter what side you are on for politics, you will still scratch your head as to his thinking.....

Ha! Your either in or your out. If you cant weather the storm you damn sure better not pretend as if your a fan when things pick back up. Its a lack of loyalty. If Dak develops and make us legitimate contenders again, I hope you kick him off the bandwagon.

That's pretty cool.

My brush with prognostication was declaring Miles Austin for real the first time I saw him play. Of course, I said that about Phillip Tanner, too.

I'm from Mississippi and although I'm not a huge college fan compared to NFL, I love football and tend to support Mississippi teams on Saturdays. I watched many games with Dak and even stated a few months back that Dak was special and would be a steal. I'm elated with the thought of possibly snagging three top players this draft in Zeke, Smith, and Prescott, not to mention Brown, Collins, and I still like Tappers potential. I think Dallas nailed it this year and this could later be looked at as a pivotal draft for us. My only caveat is I wish we had more established play makers on defense.. As I think we're close to achieving our sixth Lomabardi. That being said.. To all the so called fans that love to blame Jerry for everything, please give him his due. I hate how people always say when things go wrong it's Jerrys fault, but when it's right.. Stephen has something to do with it. The fact is, Dallas has been on the right track for several years now, building though the draft, eliminating costly 'non-performing' contracts, and giving fans hope. Perspective: who's the Giants back up, who's thier RB?, how much did they spend on defense? Betcha Philly wishes they didn't give up the farm for a Wentz right ab now..think they'd take Zeke and Prescott in a heart beat. Washington has a bunch of aging stars and god knows they wish they had Alfred back. Let that sink in for a moment.

If Prescott proves to be the real thing,we have a pretty good outlook for the future.

So fan was wrong then?

They were certainly "good" in 2014.
  • 12-4
  • Division winner
  • won a playoff game
  • came within inches of going to the NFC title game

that qualifies as at least good.

And given his topic is QB and that the QB that year was the borderline MVP of the league, for sure that was not the issue with the team.

That's NOT to say they won't be good in the future with Dak:flagwave:
Just pointing out the facts

Notice that CBS website in Philly has a strip club advertisement right next to the article.

What a cesspool.

Umm Erod the ads are based on your own search history

For example I am on my work computer where I search for medical locations, the ad next to mine is for the Rothman institute which is a Sports medicine clinic.

The question is what have YOU been searching for?
