I feel as if we could trade Greg Ellis, Jason Fegurson, and Bradie James to get a pass rushing Nose Tackle, a 2nd Round Draft Choice. Somewhere like Baltimore for Haloti Ngata and a second round draft choice. Wouldn't be a bad idea

Trade Ellis and Ferguson?????? No!

I can see Bradie being expendable, but not the other two.

player trades are very rare with the way the CBA is and trading three players is about as crazy as you can get. Fergie was an awesome NT last year for us why would we trade him for another?

Not happening especially since James is sitting on anew contract. Fergy was the best DL we had consistency wise. In the 3-4 you want a plugger that wants to plug lanes not a guy worried about bonuses in his contract for sacks. Sack Masters are almost divas.

Sometimes i wonder if your a real cowboy fan

First of all my point is it is a reason behind my thinking of this.

With Greg Ellis I believe that he's very talented, but if we have a good chance to go after someone's that's younger, more durable, and have alot of pass-rushing ability.

I don't think Greg Ellis would be looking to help another player without an finicial committment which will take up Salary Cap room when he's not starting.

With Fegurson I believe we should just get a more younger and more forceful Nose Tackle. He isn't the type of Nose Tackle you say that could actually be a passrusher. I believe Dwayne Robertson would be just great, I would like to see Wade Philips work with him or just sign Warren Sapp/or Kerry Jenkins as a Nose Tackle and put them into the best position to be successful.

Why would want a 10 million dollar man Sapp for this team he is past his prime and all he is deion sanders of the DL cashing checks on reputation only. Again why do we need a pass rushing NT, so he can have RB run by him all the time and catch little dump passes in the middle. All the NT in 3-4 needs to do is eat up blockers so the ends and LB can get to the "X" on the ball carrier's chest. You need a balance in a defense if you have no one that can play the run guess what you are going to get killed with the run.

Yes, Baltimore will gladly part with last years top pick for 2 players on the wrong side of 30, one of them coming of achilles surgery. Oh, and let's not forget, why not throw in a guy who looked absolutely lost out there half the time.

I was wondering if Dallas could trade Fasano. He has descent hands and is a good blocker but only at the TE position. He whiffs badly when in motion so I think we have seen the last of the two TE offense. This is a bad class for TEs so a team looking for one might be inclined to trade a low 2nd or high 3rd to get Fasano. Dallas could use that pick for a reciever, tackle or CB.

I was one of the fans who was extremely dissapointed with Roy Williams and Bradie James. At the time I felt they got paid way too much to get toasted. While I do feel that their play has been wanting at times, I can no longer complain about the long term contracts they recieved. With the salary cap rising, their contracts look quite cheap now. Say what you want about Williams and James, but they could have gotten much more if they would have been allowed to hit the market.

Oh yeah, Ngata is a pass rushing STUD... his 1 sack in 16 games last year certainly demonstrates that (he started all 16 games for the Ravens)...

It would really be nice if somebody would send you a CLUE, and you'd realize that the first job of a nose tackle is NOT to be a pass rusher, indeed anything they give you in the way of a pass rush is just gravy...

A nose tackle's job is to tie up two blockers, to allow the linebackers to get to the ball and make the tackle... he's supposed to clog up the middle... Ngata is very, very good at that...

But tell me why the Ravens would ever even CONSIDER going for a deal like you propose...

Ngata had 6.5 sacks in his last two college seasons... you call THAT "alot of pass-rushing ability"??

Bluntly, I don't think you'd recognize a good pass rusher if one strolled up to you and bit you on your butt...

With Fegurson I believe we should just get a more younger and more forceful Nose Tackle. He isn't the type of Nose Tackle you say that could actually be a passrusher.

You clearly have NO grasp of what a nose tackle's responsibilities are...

Not to mention the contract they'd have to absorb if they traded for Bradie...

Then it's time for you to wake up and smell the coffee, because the deal that Bradie signed last year makes him totally untradeable...
