Give me the WR that has concentration drops over the WR that is half-assing routes out there and “gives up” because hes being doubled

Great WRs get doubled and still make yardage.
Pickens has shown that he *can* do that.
But now he's also shown that's he can fold when the team is down and the team needs him most.
He's not just emotionally weak, but dumb. He cost himself a lot of money on the free agent market.
Maybe Jerry will bail him out and Pay Da Man near top of the league money anyway. I wouldn't, based on Pickens folding in this last game and his history of not getting it done in Pittsburgh, but Jerry may well do it.

Are we forgetting that Lamb was out for a few weeks at the beginning of the season with an ankle injury? Nobody was saying anything about Pickens then.

I don’t owe him an apology because I never threw him under the bus. I want Lamb and Pickens on the team next year. I think they compliment each other perfectly. I am more concerned about how we improve the defense going forward and our OT situation.

Lamb was criticized for dropping passes and that is perfectly legitimate. I think the "trade Lamb" talk was dumb but I don't think it was a majority of fans either.

I don't know what the deal was with Pickens last night. He did not look as engaged as he has in the past. Maybe he is one of those receivers that needs to get the ball early to get him involved.

I would keep Lamb for sure, and not just because his contract make it impossible to trade him or cut him.

I wonder if the problem will be getting both receivers involved enough in the game though.

I think Schotty needs to decide if he wants to lean on his best offensive attributes or balancing the offense by running a lot too. If he has mismatches with CeeDee and Pickens, I think he should use that and mix in the run. But, first they need to shore up the pass protection. They were swamped last night.

Glad you said we need to shore up the pass protection. CD and Pickens are useless if the O line doesn’t block. Also, Shotty could have helped the OT’s by using Ferguson and Williams to chip more.

RB or TE should have been assigned to Hutchinson all night long.

I don't owe an apology. I actually enjoy watching the cowboy zone drama as most people on here are knee jerkers. I cared not one way or the other about Ceedees poor performance in those games.

I know that he is capable of being a 1A receiver but has some occasional inconsistency. It's part of the package.

I know Pickens has a higher potential than Ceedee. Meaning he has more chaotic tendencies. He absolutely has the ability to be better than Ceedee at bursts of times. But he also had the ability to play much lower than Ceedee. Thus the chaos theory. It works for you when he goes off in the SB. But it can backfire at times. This is what makes him a 1B receiver.

The crazy cowboys fans that have chaotic swings every game are the ones that should just chill and evaluate after 1 year, not 1 game.

When you say ‘fan base’, you’re talking about a small minority that ‘threw Lamb to the gutter’. ALL Players have bad games. Brady, Manning, Aikman, Bryant, Rice…the list is endless.

Obviously this loss wasn’t on #4, Pickens, or Lamb. Teams scoring 28+ win over 85% of their games. An abysmal special teams performance, worst game of the year for our OL, and even a beefed up defense can’t stop a good team that gets field position at the 50 nearly every possession.

Very disappointing.
