Lawson, Ross, Takk, Sidney Jones, Ryan Ramczyk mentioned in the article with clips

Carl Lawson and the Cowboys fit like a glove. The Cowboys have a huge hole at pass-rusher, and Lawson is a top-three pure pass-rusher in this class. The only reason he would be available when the Cowboys are on the clock is because of injury concerns as Lawson missed big chunks of his college career because of hip and knee issues.

Lawson has an electric first step that disrupts the relationship between an offensive tackle and quarterback. He also brings violent and active hands that he uses to create a soft edge and stay clean on his path to the QB.

On top of the elite footwork he uses to set up his rush, Lawson has just enough pliability and closing speed to be a threat to speed rush, bend the edge and flatten to the quarterback.

As a run defender, Lawson isn’t as effective, but he does display the ability to play with good hand and body placement while setting the edge.

It all comes down to health for Lawson, and if the Cowboys can come to grips with his injury history, the Auburn product should be the easy pick if available at No. 28.

Any one of those players would be an upgrade at the position they play. I'm leery of Lawson's injury history but if he's got a clean bill of health than no issue here. I'd have no issue taking the WR or the OT, even with the obvious DE weakness and CB holes we have.

Sid Jones and Ramzcky are the only 2 I'd consider...doubt either are there tho.

I've made my opinion on Takk known..

Lawson would be a classic reach for need imo. What is he the 8th or 9th best DE?

Ross I wouldn't hate but I'm just not a huge fan of adding a small WR that early. He'd bring a nice dimension to the offense with his deep speed, but have a hard time seeing him catch more than 60-65 balls in our offense

And that would be bad?

People would freak if we took Ramczyk but I would love it. Fortify the strength of your team.
Especially if he is the best player in the board. I am totally on board with this. Get talented football players period. No drug concerns or injury concerns.....some straight talent that we can bully teams
