I'm not going to advertise for other boards on here. Out of respect for management. In the general sense, I do believe there is a lot more negativity on the interwebs as opposed to what I see in the reals but nothing so absolute.

go to a game thread on sunday. give up 1 first down. "we sucks this game is over we will be lucky to win again this year" and thats just after a first down imagine what happens when the professional team on the other side scores.

You see the same things on other boards during the games. It's how a lot of fans are lol. There really isn't much to complain about though. Even the coaching staff has stepped up this season.

I have not seen a single "Dak is worthless" post, nor have I seen a single mention that "this team would be 4-12 with Zeke"

I'm excited for this team, I think the future is bright. Fix the D in the off season and who knows what'll happen.

Now as fans I think it natural to be frustrated and critique your team. I was one of those frustrated fans Sunday after falling behind 14-0 and having Dunbar fall on a ball inside the 2 that would have died inside the 5 on its own. The one thing that I think needs to be cleaned up is oou dumb mistakes, Dak and Zeke bailed this team out a lot on Sunday, I don't think we'll get that lucky over the next few weeks if we continue the dumb mistakes.

I love competition, and wish the Cowboys pushed it more after the season starts, but there is a big difference between competition and hate. Just like people turned on Romo every time he had a bad game, you'll see the same thing against Dak when he eventually has a bad game. They'll turn on Elliott when he fumbles late in the game. They'll turn on Dez .. well, many have already turned on him.

You get the point though. I get mad at players. I've called Romo an idiot while watching games quite a few times in his career. I've done the same for Garrett and a few other players. The difference is I don't hate any of them. Some fans literally hate players on the team who play poorly for a game or two, yet love them the moment they make a game-winning or game-turning play the next.

I know of no one jumping ship. It's a convivial group of men who relish our start.

But yes, we could be 4-0.
Without the rookies we'd be 2-2.
Our defense is on the road to being exposed.
Our HC is a milquetoast guy.
Our GM is clueless but shows glimmers of lucidity.

Not a recipe for success.

Yet the defence has played with heart if not technique. Our offense I can find no fault with.
The 'Boys are doing something right...
Worse days loom, blokes, but I give MY team an A for heart and for effort.

I completely agree and I, like Jerry, am surprised they're 3 and 1. And you have to like what we've seen out of our QB and RB.

Here's the thing. Most folks are pretty surprised and happy the team is 3 and 1. But some folks are very guardedly optimistic and I can't blame them. Speaking for myself, I'll never settle for being relevant; that's just Jerry selling an inferior product/result. If that makes me a bad fan, so be it. But not many folks are jumping ship, as the Op stated. Let's keep it real.

No they the tulips aren't posting as much now that their team is doing well.
But the gashing and whining before the season started was buzz killer
I did see plenty 6/10 predictions and of course 8/8
