Fans Wanted Accountability

Ken Hamlin?

The one that was constantly being ran over by running backs and out of position quite a bit.

Just because his replacement sucks, doesn't mean we should have kept him.

No thanks.

I was one of those that hated on Hamlin, but Ball is so out of position, it is absurd. The secondary looks like a cluster-f right now...

When we cut Hamlin I asked some know it alls who was going to be the QB of the secondary because we certainly needed one. From all the mix ups and fingerpointing that has been going on whoever we get to replace Ball had better know how to make sure guys are lined up right and know what they are supposed to do. I am wondering if one of the reasons that Hamlin was not making plays was that he was too busy trying to keep the children in line.

No need to wonder, you are correct.

Not only that, but will someone explain to me what constitutes "making plays?"

Just because he didn't get as many interceptions as in your Madden game the night before doesn't mean he wasn't helping out the 11 man unit on defense.

Read the topic: fans wanted accountability. Go back and read the threads (dcfanatic in particular with his personal crusades against different players every once in a while) about Jerry needing to show there's "accountability" for substandard play, and that starting with Ken Hamlin should be one of the first moves.

I'm not saying I think it is. I think accountability is sorely lacking in the entire organization, but I'm just saying the fans clamored for his release without any real plan in place in a year with an uncertain CBA...this is what you get.

Only accountability I want is Wade and the entire coaching staff fired, and Jerry Stepping down as GM, saying he is over his head. That is the accountability this team needs and has needed since 1994

I think he was more a player/coach than Campo is coach period. We haven't changed much on D from last year to this year and here we are.

I can agree with that.
