Yeah, at the end I was just grabbing guys. I tried to get Rahim Moore and then McCourty to play FS but I was outbid.

Also, all of the players you bolded were 1 year deals.
 
It figures though, I keep Dez, Murray, Rolando, Bruce, Free...then add Suh and JPP...and you wanna dog me for the 1-year guys I signed to fill holes.
 
This is pretty interesting. It'd be nice if they had some data on comparable player salaries. Step 3 is taking a bit of time. Even CJ Spillman is rejecting my contracts.

Did you at least call Suh and Pierre-Paul an Uber after having your way with them? Or did you do something like fully guarantee their contract?
 
I signed JPP right off the bat. Suh was just sitting there 4 days in and the safeties weren't accepting my offers. I know I gave them both 7-year deals.

Dez wouldn't re-sign for anything so I Franchised him.
 
A good time waster but definitely hard to sign guys...thanks for posting

To be fair I didn't use the website. I figured you could just pay people whatever. 4 million for Woodson seemed nuts. JPP and Suh looked cheap. I get that its just for fun though, and wasn't really trying to dog you.

The problem with this concept is that the Cowboys could sign all kinds of free agents if he 2015 cap was the only limit, but the future years' cap is the problem.

You can't use both the transition tag and franchise tag in the same year.

You cut the primary backup OC/OG Berndeau.

You're giving Charles Woodson as contract with a 2015 cap hit of 4M? He is 38 and will be 39 next season.

Taylor Mays started Zero games but was active for 16 in 2014.

You're signing Locker and keeping Weeden?

A FB for 1.75M when the Cowboys only use a FB for 10 plays per game?

If you're gearing up for the SB you need to keep your proven backup OC/OG. His salary is only 1.5M, IIRC.

Brandon Mebane is not a free agent.

At his age and coming off injury they could very well release him just like Red Bryant/Chris Clemons last season. They still have to pay Wilson this off-season and could find him expendable
