For Halloween what are your favorites...

People under the Stairs
Hostile
Wrong Turn

What is Hostile? Did you mean Hostel? If not, let me know what it is about because I really enjoy the scary movies.

Now I was not impressed with Hostel. It was disturbing, but I never felt scared or on edge. Plus it was a bit too gory for me. I don't mind gore, but I prefer more suspense over gore.

Saw, The Grudge and The Ring were good ones that have come out recently that I enjoy watching this time of year. I usually just watch about anything that comes on television during Halloween even if I don't get to watch it all.

Yes I meant Hostel.
I dont think there was a movie that ever scared me.
People under the stairs for example was more funny than scary.
The movie Hostel I loved the whole concept of the movie. I found it to be interesting and it made me think.

I didnt care for The Grudge but Saw was excellent and The Ring was also very good.

A movie that I really liked was They Live with Rodney piper.

The Evil Dead

Both Evil Dead movies were great.

I havent seen either in quite a while and back in the summer I tried to rent them and they were always out at the video store .
Finally I asked the clerk if they had them anymore because Iwas looking for a month and could not get a copy and the clerk told me that they still have them but they are constantly being rented.

Psycho (Hitchcock version)

Psycho was the first horror movie I ever saw and I think it was way ahead of its time.
Hitchcock was a creative genious.

The imagination is so much scarier than people give it credit for.

Shaun of the Dead

It's a perfect mix of zombies, horror and humor. Add to that a pretty cool soundtrack and you have a winner.

I love all scary movies...Some obviously are better than others.

But since it's Halloween...I'll go with the classic.

I've never seen the other two, but Army of Darkness is pretty good.

Don't know if this is a "horror" movie, but SEVEN really freaked me out.

I forgot my other favorite. Jaws.

I've thrown a couple of parties where we watch it in the swimming pool floating on inner tubes, rafts, etc. Nothing like watching Jaws while you are in water.
