well, it would have to be the game against the Skins in 1987, give or take a year.

I remember Theisman had a bad night and then the whole stadium (well, maybe not the concessionaires and parking attendants) sang "Happy Birthday to You" to ol' Joe. Brought tears to me eyes, laddies.

That was 1985. We won 44-14 on Theisman's 36th birthday. He threw five interceptions.

never got to Texas Stadium but have seen the Boys three times in Seattle.

The first one we got killed but I really didn't care as I got to see Emmitt play for my first and only time and I finally saw the Boys live.

2004 was very memorable, got way up, choked away the and then came back. From my seat I remember seeing the huge hole open for Julius on the winning TD. It was amazing.

2005 was not so good, Bledsoe INT to cost us the game :(

Was that the one at Husky Stadium in 2001? What a miserable, cold, wet day that was.

I was at both of those, too. Jose Cortez missed a 29-yard field goal right in front of me. That would have all but sealed the victory because Bledsoe wouldn't have been throwing the ball at the end with a 13-10 lead.

We do lose track of the years. Our city council wants to get rid of the regular calender and replace it with the Farmers Almanac.

And our visionaries at the C of C wants to rename our burg Ye Olde Farmers Branche to bring in the pottery barn set but we gots to much flies and broken down vehicles in yards and stuff to suit the houty toyde or however you call them rich peoples.

I have seen the Cowboys play live 4 times and they are 4-0 with me in attendance. Favorite was in RFK in 1988.

I'm willing to go to every game if you guys want to take up a collection.

I've been to many, BUT...

NFC Championship Game vs. San Fran, Jan of '94. Won and then won the Super Bowl the very next week.

I must also mention NFC Division Playoff game vs. Philly in Jan of '06. Allegedly, it was the coldest game at TS -- 11 degrees at kickoff. It was so cold, the beer taps froze!

Here's my Top 5 list of the most amazing Cowboys finishes I've witnessed in person:

#5 --Cowboys vs. Panthers 10/13/2002

After laying a complete egg for over three and a half quarters of play, Quincy and the Cowboys trailed the Panthers 13-0.

Then, with less than four minutes left, Q-Ball hit Joey Galloway for an 80 yard bomb on a ball that was tipped by the defensive back before Galloway secured it and scampered down the field. Then, on the eventual game-winning drive, a Quincy fumble was reversed on a “tuck rule” call before Quincy eventually hit Antonio Bryant on a miraculous 4th down touchdown catch with less than a minute left.

Chris Weinke and the Panthers almost drove within field goal range before running out of time in this amazing finish.

#4 -- Cowboys vs. Redsk*ns 11/16/1997

I remember sitting in the “cheap” seats in the upper deck endzone. But those turned out to be the best seats in the house as all of the 4th quarter action ended up happening on that end of the field.

Cowboys trailed 14-6 late in the fourth quarter. Aikman orchestrates a 97 yard drive, culminating with a TD strike to Irvin with less than 2 minutes left… a 2 point conversion to Emmitt ties the game. Then, backed up deep in “my” endzone, with all my fellow fans screaming, we force a 3-and-out by the Skins and intimidate Matt Turk into a 28 yard punt. Troy then drove the Cowboys into field goal range, and Richie Cunningham hit the game winning 42 yarder with 4 seconds left!

#3 -- Cowboys at Redsk*ns 11/16/2008

I go to this game here in Washington every year, and after three straight debacles, including the notorious "blocked-field-goal-Sean-Taylor-return-with-no-time-on-the-clock" game, I was finally treated to a great "team" win at a time in the season when the Cowboys needed it most.

Fantastic feeling watching, surrounded by agonized Redsk*n fans, as MBIII grinds out the clock on that final drive!

#2 -- Cowboys at Chargers 9/11/2005

Opening game of the 2005 season, on the road in San Diego. With three minutes left, Drew Bledsoe hits Keyshawn on third down to take a 28-24 lead.

It wasn’t close to being over then, though, as Drew Brees led the Chargers down the field for a potential game-winning drive. On 4th-and-14, we thought we had the game won, but Brees hit Eric Parker for 33 yards down to the 7 yard line with less than a minute left. In the most tense and exciting four downs I’ve ever witnessed, the Dallas defense kept San Diego out of the endzone as Aaron Glenn came up with a deflection and pick on 4th down to seal the Dallas win!

#1 -- Cowboys at Bills 10/8/2007

The Monday Night Miracle!

I can't imagine ever seeing a more unlikely ending to a game.

That's correct. There were two bye weeks during the regular season that year and no week off before the Super Bowl.

My favorite was probably my first game. Sept. 26, 1976. My dad and I flew to Dallas. I remember it being blistering hot in the first half and it rained in the second half. Dallas outscored the Bert Jones-led Baltimore Colts in a game full of big plays.

I've seen them a few times since -- including the playoff win over Atlanta in 1978 (A journeyman linebacker named Pennywell KO'd Roger and Danny White had to come in), and a couple of times at Sun Devil Stadium in the early 1990s.

My favs in order of attendence:

1) Atlanta at Dallas, 1991. This was the last game of the season, Emmitt clinched his first ever rushing title with a huge day, afterward people hung around in the stadium to get updates from the PA guy on Barry Sanders (who's agme went into OT). We beat Atlanta as well.

2) Philly at Dallas, 1992. This was the game where Philly cream cheese was taken out of all the local Krogers. We kicked the crap out of Cunningham that day and won easily, avenging the earlier season defeat at Philly. Lin Elliott missed numerous FG's that day.

3) Dallas at Atlanta, MNF 1992. We clinched the NFC East that night, blowing Atl out bad. That was the game of one of Emmitt's memorable runs, when he bounced off half their team in route to a TD. Aikman played one of the ebst games I ever saw a QB play, was something like 18/21, one or two balls were dropped, the other was thrown away. Irvin and Harper tore the Falcons DB's a new one. I think the final score was 41-17, after the game I ended up hanging out inside the stadium where we met several Cowboy players who were there for a cristening for one of Emmitt's nieces or nephews.

4) SF at Dallas, 1993. Dominated them after Emmitt fumbled early and SF ran it back for TD. Aikman to Irvin was unstoppable that day, I think Irvin caught 11 or 12 balls. Harper dropped a perfectly thrown bomb in my endzone that day.

5) Dallas at Atlanta 1995...John Madden said during the game that our offense was the best he'd ever seen. We blew them out.

Hey with a big Giants game coming up, though it might be cool to see what kind of experience we have around the forum.

What is the biggest/most important or favorite Cowboys game you ever attended in person?

Mine was the 1977 NFC Championship game, Cowboys over the Vikings. We still have some home movie footage of that game. Sat in the upper corner of the endzone where Golden Richards made his TD catch falling down backwards.

You?
Week 1 2007 season vs Giants

The second game I attended is mine. It was on September 17, 1961. Our first victory. We scored 10 points in the last minute to beat Pittsburgh.

Now THAT is cool. You were present at the first Dallas Cowboys win in their history. Congrats!

Back in the 60s at Fair Park I watched a few games and in one against the Eagles, I saw Don Meredith throw four TDs to Bob Hayes. That was impressive.
