I wish the new systems would get their acts together and allow Tecmo to make an updated version.....one compatible to PS1, 2, 3....GameCube...Wii...XBox and 360....oh and of course for the PC

i agree tecmo super bowl, will always be the greatest ever. espcially the ambulance and when u come off the injured list

I love the field that seems like it is a mile long.....punts that go almost 100 yds, yet you are lucky to get 5 yds on a punt return....the way you have to zig zag in order to break a long run.....and how, depending on the opposing QB, you can get like 20 sacks a game, using Russell Maryland.

Zero graphics, which IMO get in the way of a good NFL Ownership SIM game...mostly text based strategy game about NFL ownership.

And TONS of stats.

ESPN NFL 2k5 is my favorite. I play that game all the time. You can edit the draftees in Franchise mode, allowing you to build Ware, Romo, et al, and make them as good as you think they are. LOL

release a Tecmo Super Bowl for the new systems with the same format as the old game, but updated players and graphics......I have a feeling it will destroy Madden in sales.

NFL Challenge by Xor...it was for the older PC's but it was a great game...

Madden '93 for the Sega Genesis was the ultimate for me.

The franchise has been going downhill since then - especially with the disgrace called Madden '07 for the PS2.

didnt one of the original versions of madden have that? when a player would get injured the ambulance would drive onto the field and run over every player in the way. HILARIOUS!!!!!

so sales equate to best? EA Sports has not, will not, innovate Madden. You're getting the same crap every year. The same issues are in the game each year. They don't care about what the consumer wants in the game, it's what they want to give you. They'll take a feature that has been in other games or in their own game for years and market it as a new feature. Madden has been crap.

despite all the crap they put out. that's why EA doesn't innovate because they know they can release a steaming pile of dung and slap EA Sports on it and people will buy it. They finally got the point with NBA Live this year. It was so horrible on XBOX 360, they consumers let them know and they pulled it this year for the PS3 release.
