Many describe the muscle car era from 1964 - 1972. Then in 1973, car manufactuers detuned the engines and the catalytic converter appeared in 1975.

For purposes of this forum and the various ages of posters, I ask what is your favorite muscle car, hot rod, etc from 1964-1985?

Mine is the 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge

The 77 FireAm with the big engine always really sang to me.

Yes sir. My dad and I went up too Calisle.PA a couple weeks ago for the Chrysler nationals and there was this '70 Hemi Cuda there. It was one of the sweetest cars ive ever seen. Red with white interior. Wow!

Shelby Cobra is mine. Prefer the 1965 model personally. If you look on the dash that is Carroll Shelby's autograph.

Both my mom and dad have Corvettes and are members of the Corvette club here in Houston put me down as a Corvette type of guy. My friends think it is cool that people at their age are into this.

My first car was a 1969 Chevy SS Camaro. I actually prefer the '68 Camaro, but I wasn't going to complain at the time.

Vettes and Cobras aren't "muscle cars." :) Though I think the Cobras and the late 60s/early 70s Vettes are some of the coolest cars ever created.
