My favorite part was the Walter Payton award presentation. I'm sure he changed a lot of guys in that audience thought process. Goodell was very grateful for what he said.

Did he mean to say beckham was from the Dallas Cowboys or was that unintentional? He makes it look and sound like he didn't mean to say it but I've got to think that was part of script and if it were part of the script why was he supposed to say that exactly, like I don't get the idea behind it

I think it was scripted by the show producers..every one coming to the stage has to throw some joke you know .. And I don't think Romo is still in that moment...

Considering they put Calvin Johnson and Romo together, it was pretty obvious where they were going to go with the commentary. I'm sure Romo loved the line he was given, though, and it's possible he even had input into his joke.
