Thomas Henderson. Loved me some Hollywood. Too bad he was an idiot.
Who is your most favorite player in Cowboys history?
I've gotta go with Emmitt Smith. He was the player that made me a Cowboys fan. Loved watching him play.
1. Emmitt. By far, easily. Elite on and off the field.
2. Romo. The ultimate underdog, played with so much heart and brains and courage. The most unfairly criticized Cowboy of all time, defending him so often made me a bigger and bigger fan of him.
3. Irvin. So much passion.
4. Dorsett. My favorite player when I became a Cowboys fan back in 1982.
5. Roy Williams. He’s ridiculed nowadays, but that period between the 90s dynasty and Romo, the one thing that made the Cowboys fun to watch was seeing Roy absolutely lay the hammer and knock guys out. (And I’m a Sooners fan, so I was so excited to have my favorite OU player become a Dallas Cowboy).
I hear that! One of my favorite memories was when Aikman hit Rocket Ismail for an 80 yard td in overtime against the Commanders.50 + years of being a fan makes that an impossible question for me, and I see others find it a difficult task as well. A lot of players, a lot of great memories. Go Cowboys
