Oh man. There are so many. I like songs with a great message. Here's one that is not at all well known and I love it. "Fall of the Peacemakers" by Molly Hatchett. This is about MLK, Ghandhi, Sadat, and Jesus.

Stan by Eminem...IMO that is the best and most creative song ever made, absolute genius and how much of an impact the lyrics had was incredible, such a great subject for a song.

One of my favorites as well -- the Kris Kristofferson link made me think about Leonard Cohen whose song Bird on a Wire KK said he wanted on his Tombstone. Cohen is to be inducted into the Rock and Roll HoF this year.
