As for the Police, it's worth asking which version of Synchronicity, because Synchronicity II is one of the best songs ever. Baba O'Reilly is another great call. The Who just might be my favourite band.

I really blow hot and cold on Peter Gabriel. He's capable of some brilliant music (the whole Passion album, Don't Give Up, Biko) but he can also drive me crazy with his excesses.
