I was thinking about a poll, but that would be too many things to choose from and I'd probably have to have separate polls for the Landry, Johnson and Switzer years

Charles Haley had a really good game too if I remember correctly, he harassed Elway most of that game.

I opened this thread up thinking I would see a picture of Cheryl Tiegs.



The best play in that game against Denver was when Denver blitzed a linebacker up the middle on one play. Emmitt crushed the guy knocking himself and the linebacker to the ground. Emmitt bounced up and Troy dumped the ball off to him. Emmitt turned and ran for a decent gain and I believe getting a first down. It just showed the all around talents of Emmitt. The announcers talked about it during the replays.

Forgetting the fact that it was the Hail Mary game, and an SI cover, it sums up what Preston Pearson was all about--getting past the sticks on third down and making the catch.
