Going to start off by saying that I'm glad we got the dub!

But wow, our offense is putrid without Felix Jones. It started last year when he missed the final 12 games and the two games he's missed this year. This offense is almost unstoppable with Felix. He touches the ball he gets us out of that 2nd and 12 situation easily. It's so underrated what he does for this team.

Felix is our most valuable player.

Who else agrees!? Now get your *** on the field Mr. Glass Jones!! We need you MVP!

Yea the opposing safeties can get away with cheating up on the run. KC did this and we beat them with Miles Austin just having to beat his man one on one.

Hopefully Felix can come back and stay for good for the stretch, or else it's gonna be hard road. Barber needs to to be 110% coming off the bye too.

We need Barber and Felix to remain productive.

I said this last week....that without him we're average.

Garrett doesn't know how to use all these guys so it really doesn't matter.

My fear though is we had 500 yds of offense today and people and Jerry are going to say that Garrett is doing fantastic.

I agree with the OP to some extent. Felix is a difference maker and that can't be argued. However, we put up 500 yards of offense today. The only reason we didn't score 35 points or more is because of penalties and turnovers. We have weapons, but we're just too stupid to use them correctly most of the time. It will be interesting to see how we play after the bye with everyone back healthy and in the lineup (at least I'm assuming they will be).

Valid points.

I disagree.

I think Tony Romo is the Most Valuable Player.

Even if Felix Jones plays well, if Tony Romo doesn't play well, it will eventually hinder efforts to make the Playoffs.

When Tony Romo is playing at a high level, you can stick Troy Hambrick back there and the Cowboys are going to have a good shot at winning.

Id say anytime you can put up 500 yards it is fantastic.

I was completely shocked to hear from Joe Buck that Todd Haley said their best chance of winning was to put the ball in Tony Romo's hands.

I guess the way he has played, I shouldn't be too shocked but I just don't remember hearing teams desperately wanting to put the game in Tony Romo's hands.

Or maybe Haley's just an arrogant ***** who says some stupid stuff.

At least Haley got part of his wish . . .

Felix Jones is electryfying. Have you guys seen his Arkansas highlight reel on Youtube? freaking amazing. But, he really needs to work on conditioning you can't expect to last long in the NFL if you dash for 40 yards then pummel to the ground only to get injured then be out for the next 3 games(seems to be hapenning a lot in his short career).

It's important for a RB to be productive, very important, but it's more important for him to be reliable and durable. Look at Tashard Choice the guy is reliable, productive and durable...that's the kind of RB you want. In all honesty if Felix Jones misses more than 2 games from here on out he will be labled injury prone then move on. Only time will tell I guess...he is talented though....but fragile.

I wish Emmitt Smith would talk to Felix about conditioning, hydration, stretching, diet etc. Emmitt had a masseuse and some other specialists working on him and it served him well. I'm not saying that Felix's body will respond the same way, but it's worth a shot.

The offense wouldn't look so "putrid" if we could score touchdowns when we get inside the 10.
