I hope they snatch him up quick before Jerry offers him a long term contract. :lmao2:

Teams seem to go through phases of picking up players off specific teams. The Cowboy went through a Lions/Browns phase, and the Bears went through a nasty Dallas run of players. All thay has nothing on Cinci and Cowboy cast offs, over the last three/four years it must be close to ten. I know Zimmer has a lot to do with it, but really, it's a lot.

good for Felix, i wish him and most ex cowboys the best. Just because they can do it and i cant doesnt mean i wish them ill. He did what he could here and maybe it wasnt a good fit. Who knows? He can move on and maybe another tema might be a better fit for him. He knows he cant carry a team and he knows his time is short with that position, so if he can capitalize, all the better for him.

Felix was never utilized by the Cowboys.

Only 1 year in his career did he average over 10 carries oer game, and he only averaged 11.5 that year.

That was 2010. His ypc was 4.3. He had a whooping ONE fumble in 185 carries. He averaged almost 4 first downs on his 11.5 carries. Not to bad for someone that is not a short yardage back.

If we had used him more, he could have been much more efficent for us.

Good luck where ever he lands. Hope he doesn't come back to haunt us with another team.

I'd take him back for the right deal, we need a back, he knows the offense and not bad at picking up the blitz. We only have 6 picks in this years draft so running back is not something I want to draft out of need and he is as goods as any of the FA backs available.

Is that anything like the whooping cough?

Seriously though, running backs are a dime a dozen. Maybe was a mistake to take one in the first round and instead should take later round runners.

CIN's probably looking to kill two birds with one stone with Jones. They need an upgrade @ kick-returner as much as they need a backup RB.

Jones was already cut

He wasn't cut. He simply entered free agency after his contract ran out and isn't worth bringing back for more than the vet minimum (so Dallas can cut him if need be).

He is a HORRIBLE kick returner, if Cincy is looking at using him there, they are crazy.

was he bad because of his lack of skills or because of our lack of ST? Im only asking this because (and i wasnt a fan of his hiring) our ST has been lacking for many years now.
