As bad as some people hate on the Cowboys, Jery Jones, Jason Garrett, Tony Romo, etc., just remeber - thank goodness we're not the Bengals looking to answer the bell at RB with a player like Felix Jones.

I like the Bengals' approach the last few years though.

Build your team through the draft and fill in the cracks with inexpensive FAs.
Very Baltimore-like. Pittsburgh and New England too for that matter.
Of course, this only works if you draft well.

It's paying off for them. They have a really soldi, young team now. I think they've made the playoffs 3 of 4 years too.

Sure wish we had someone who could block and run as good as Felix. I haven't seen anyone who even comes close. Murray gets hurt a lot, and we don't have anyone to take his place if he goes down.

Murray gets a pass, see, it's the Arkansas connection even though he is the only player Jerry has ever drafted from there. If Felix had played in college anywhere other than Arkansas he would be viewed/critiqued differently here.

was he bad because of his lack of skills or because of our lack of ST? Im only asking this because (and i wasnt a fan of his hiring) our ST has been lacking for many years now.

Considering Dwayne Harris and Dez Bryant have broke long return TDs behind those special teams, I'd say it's Felix.
