Felix "The Cat" Jones

Hey zoners what are your thoughts on Cat Jones! This guy is cat quick. He almost broke a 94 rd run vs. the 49ers. Is there a way to get him and Barber on the field at the same time. This guy is explosive. I hope he stays healthy all year. I like our offense..Romo had that pick and it was a dumb one. We should pound teams more with the running game and slow down Romo somewhat..Slightly ease off the pedal but it's exciting!

He will more often than not. I think he has shown that. And just the threat that he could go all the way give the defense something to worry about. The shoestring tackle weren't work every time.

I liked the way they used him on the TD run against the 9'ers. The personnel and formation said to me "pass!" but then they just ran it in. He probably won't be used much like that during the regular season, but he does force defenses to respect that swing pass. No safety or LB is going to close on him and take him down consistently.

I would love to see two TE's and MBIII and Felix all on the field in short yardage. What does a defense do? Is it run or pass?

The re-broadcast cut out part of that drive to make it fit in the 3 hour slot they give for those re-airs.

When you put someone on ignore does it still show his name or does it deleted everything. Even seeing his name is going to **** me off so simply removing the content wont do.

You bet....people keep saying he almost went the distance but it's hard to tell in that clip, looks like a couple defenders were in position even if he got past the guy that tripped him up.
In any case I think Cowboy fans have seen enough of Mr. Jones to realize what he brings to the game and I guarantee you he's gotten the full attention of defensive coordinators everywhere.
Call me crazy but I think the offense this year will be much more balanced than in recent years and even explosive at times. All the experts putting Dallas 3rd in the East are gonna eat crow. Barring injury, Cowboys go 11-5 or better, win the division and may very well win it all, THIS YEAR.....IMHO

There are so few 90+ yard runs in NFL history. I know Tony Dorsett has the longest at 99 1/2 yards and Dallas lost the game in which it happened.

I thought it was a good tackle by the defender. Felix already made a good move to turn a small gain into a longer play. If he gets enough touches he will turn in some big plays.
