And what position do you think the NFL can afford to have females compete at. I can definitely see a kicker , and possibly wide receiver. And why not quarterback. You can't touch them.

I'm all for gender equality, but I'm not sure if it's medically safe to allow women to take hits on the field.

With all due respect to them, they are just not built anatomically like we are.

only kicker and that will never happen because if there's a blocked kick she'll get destroyed just for the fun of it.

Am I a bad guy if I said I'd like to see her blown up by someone on kick off coverage?

Not in the NFL. Unless they don’t test them for PED. If a 300 pounder gets a hold of her then she could get hurt and I don’t want to see that.

No problem with women doing most everything a man does. This is likey one of the few things that’s a no go for me.

They've already broken the NFL Official and Coaching barriers...You're probably correct on the kicker, but even that is kind of far fetched at this point. Otherwise, I don't see any other positions at which they could be legitimately competitive (at least in my lifetime).

What you don't think there are 300 pound woman that can kick *** LOL

As of right now there are two teams already interviewing a female kicker

What happens to the kicker if the kick is blocked? Can the female kicker handle being run into on the kick? Will the male opposing players not try hard to avoid contact?

What teams?

The video of the female kicking a long field goal was really a kickoff setup to look like a field goal.

Field goals are basically what you would call a 3 step process.

The female in the video took about 9 steps like an NFL kicker does on kickoffs.

Right, Lloyd hit a 55 yarder (crushed it) so I don't think its a physical barrier, it's more a mental one. I think it will happen, but never be close to standard.

Everyone talking about them getting hurt etc is talking nonsense, place kickers rarely get hit. Exception is a botched snap, in which case the holder is taking that over anyway.

No other positions, ever.

I understand one of the teams is the Miami Dolphins. But the woman has a soccer game tonight and she declined the interview

I'm not sure what you're talking about but this was on the news yesterday

Just like any other job in this world. If a woman is the best qualified for the position then by all means hire her. If a female kicker comes in and beats out our current kicker then give her a shot. In my prime I was 6' tall and 180lbs. I competed with men on the basketball court and in the weight room. I could hold my own. However, I was far from the elite athletes in the NFL. So, It could happen but highly unlikely.
