Ferguson was best player Detroit had

That's just B.S. Ferguson has proved he is a quality TE who has terrific hands and is as tough as they come! Does he need to hold onto the ball a little better, yes, but the Detroit defender went at the ball with a full on punch that most players would have also lost! He is the least of Dallas' problems! How about starting with a Head Coach who after looking at the game tape on Friday stated he didn't see Pickens loafing or taking plays off at all!!???? If a coach is afraid to call out players for terrible play and more importantly a lack of effort, he will NEVER win in this league! Shotty needs to be better!

His hands to the face cost us the game.

Ferg had a Bad Game, still the Best TE we had since Witt, just play smarter don't try to gain one more yard if three defenders are tackling You, go down. Pickens did the same thing and we almost lost the ball too.
Some of these guys make mistakes, including game losers, because they are trying so hard. Important to differentiate the difference. (P.S. - Pickens was NOT one of those guys LOL)

I think the best way I saw it coached this year was in another sport, the NBA. Spurs coach was yelling at the players to "embrace the boring!" You have to be a robot on your technique and have it ingrained so much that no matter what the situation, you will follow through.

Ferguson is good but nothing special. The problem is the other Cowboys TEs have wooden legs.

He’s a JAG and needs to be replaced. YET ANOTHER TERRIBLE CONTRACT DECISION.
I disagree and I don't think you needed to have a special call out thread He had a bad game. He the LA this year he's lost some focus and he's fumbling but he's also got interfered with that call should have never went up against him and he had the game before where he made a fantastic catch that's not what Jags do he makes catches in traffic he may not be fast and have a lot of YAC but he's not a Jag it's not a bad contract Maybe you ought to look at some of the other starting tight ends outside of the couple that are elite and you'll see he fits right in that group of a solid starting tight end...

I have sit here and listen to the nonsense Yes a lot of guys had bad games his fumbles need to be corrected that's for damn sure, George Pickens had a worse game The offensive line for the most part had a worse game The defense in its entirety had a terrible game and somehow I come on here the next day and see people calling out Pacific players instead of just saying the team played poorly and let's just move on but they have to come here and overreact and say things like he needs to be replaced no he doesn't maybe the guys below him get can develop and eventually his contract will be at a place where you can get rid of him but no not right now he's a solid player again look around at the Titans in this league outside of maybe the top ten and he fits right in so 22 other teams don't have better tight ends in the Dallas Cowboys..

I understand your frustration but other players even Ryan number 19 gets the ball pulled out turns into an interception how's that any better they all made mistakes they all didn't play well outside of Lamb in Prescott and I'm gonna prop them up even though I seen a post at Prescott like obviously didn't step up in a big game apparently didn't watch the game.. Those are the only two players that actually look like their normal selves It sucked that we had to see Lamb laying on the ground like that because maybe he would have been the targets later in the game Who knows maybe we would have scored 40 and they would have only scored 33 and maybe we would have won the game ifs and buts and candies and nuts you know it's Christmas...

are you crazy?
Yeah the poor choice of words and the exaggerations in here are just top notch and not in a good way

I'll realize he's not technically a top five maybe not even a top 10 starter but he's right around there at 10 to 12 and if you look around at the other 22 teams that don't have something better they all have something similar to him that's what a normal tight end looks like that's not elite not special but gets the job done and yes he needs to have his fumbles fixed whatever is going on the last three or 4 games he needs to stop that nonsense if he wants to fight for one yard which I don't agree with these dudes just need to stop being the tough guy the hero that needs to drag guys for another yard that we don't need and get the ball pulled out that all needs to stop..

And that that's his problem He is the extra effort and it's hard to judge a guy for that right he's trying to get that extra yard He refuses to go out of bounds he refuses to put a knee down but that is a big problem and it needs to stop but that's it other than that he's a solid tight end and this guy's exaggerating his **** off another post that was so far off it's ridiculous..

Not many people on that field for the wearing the star Thursday night played well and I know something that Prescott didn't but I think Prescott and Lamb were the only ones that I can remember that look that like their normal selves outside of the train wreck all around them...

Yeah Prescott's getting criticized somehow for turnovers that were not his fault for having to run for his life all night and yet we have another call out thread that's misplaced.

But their mistakes do need to stop the fumbles need to stop all you have to do is when it's not there just go down that's it I remember when Ezekiel Elliott had this problem in 2020 the team wasn't very good he was doing too much and everyone started calling him a fumbler he fumble at an alarming rate that year but guess what he barely fumble once the next two years and he hardly fumble after that ever He never was a fumbler he just had a bad year with the extra effort turned into bad plays..

Man I don’t know how you guys watch this defense and immediately make posts about the offense. I just don’t know.
I agree it was an overreaction but it is frustrating watching this guy fumble the ball so outside of that yeah this guy maybe can place him around 10 He's he's a good solid tight end but he's not elite he's not special but I can see why somebody would be angry about all these fumbles lately it's been bad and he needs to stop fighting for extra yardage when it's not necessary his extra effort is costing the Cowboys so just go down That's it stop being a tough guy stop trying to play hero ball when you catch the ball and you're surrounded by people just go down...

But he's made some fantastic catches in traffic including the one that didn't count on Thanksgiving Day I mean the effort he made to catch that ball and to try to get two feet down says he's a really good tight end he's just not great he's not special he's not elite and I understand the frustration but man some of the overreactions in here it's just ridiculous...
