This week, the Dallas Cowboys’ COO Stephen Jones mentioned the possibility that his coaching staff would be one of the staffs on hand at the Reeses’ Senior Bowl starting on January 25th. Now, that has become official. With that in mind, Jason Garrett (who has a major influence of the draft process) and his coaching staff will be working with some of the most talented quarterbacks in the draft, such as Carson Wentz, possibly Connor Cook and the ever-intriguing Dak Prescott.

Wow this makes me think

Prescott’s best fit will likely be in a vertical passing offense that allows him to use his arm talent to make difficult throws down the sideline as well as using his body and mobility to stand in the pocket to let his receivers get into their routes. Think of a Bruce Arians’ style of offense when thinking of the best fit for Prescott. I have my doubts as to whether or not Dallas will think he fits, because his anticipation and accuracy aren’t precise enough (and to be frank, very few quarterbacks in the world can thrive in this system).
