Came from NFL.com combine profile.
As a sanity check I just watched the entire 15 minute draftbreakdown.com clip of his KST game.
I have to largely agree with the NFL.com analyst.
Not sure how you could watch that tape and not think he played high.
He did show pop so I'd grant that gladly. --but he is 315 versus guys in the 260s or less on many of those plays.
But he also looks thin in the butt and legs for that weight.
He is not real thick in that lower body.
On a lot of the running plays he is part of a double on guys.. which seems odd considering he has to be their best athlete on offense by a mile.
Compare him to JuWuan James playing RT for Tennessee versus a much better Oregon team. (Antonio Richardson is at LT)

James plays much lower. And looks much thicker in the lower body.
Turner does look more athletic and quicker but I think James is the better prospect because he is what he is, a RT.
Turner has to develop a lot IMHO.
If you want a LT to develop over 3 years Turner might be your guy.
When the guy that he's blocking is getting pushed backwards why would Turner or his coaches try to get him to play any "lower"? There's not doubt that he has a lot of technique issues to clean up in order to be a good NFL player. Almost all small college guy have the same issues.
Here is my analysis of James back when he was ranked #111 by NFLDS (he is now ranked #39):
Underrated. I guess the fact that he is a college RT has him rated this low. He is not a super elite athlete but he is a very smooth mover and light on his feet. The game almost looks easy for him even playing against the likes of Alabama. Uses his long arms well to keep defenders from getting into him. I don't see much not to like other than the obvious question of his ability to play LT. He can probably play RT from day 1. Arm length 35".
I'm sure you won't see it based on your view that Turner plays "high" and has a thin lower body, but I would really like to see him at OG. I believe that he would be a good Zone Blocking OG. I like the way that he blocks on the move when they run stretch plays. The fact that he could play OT is a bonus.
I don't really see James at OG.
The Cowboys have Zero depth at OG but have a legit backup (Parnell) and a developmental guy (Weems) at OT. There's not much remaining in free agency. Leary and Bernadeau have both had some injury issues. Romo is 34 with a back issues. IMO, they almost have to draft a Guard early.
