Find it strange the players seemed to be more concerned about TO vs RW?

Roy has been with the Cowboys since day 1. He lobbied to be drafted by the Cowboys before and during the draft. He will always be a Cowboys to me. TO was hired help.

It's probably just the medias spin on the days events but it seemed like the players and JJ had plenty of comments about TO and not so much about Roy.

Anyone else thinking or noticed it?

TO is always going to be the bigger story. The only ones who could have competed with that are D-Ware and Tony Romo.

I'll miss Roy a LOT more than I'll miss TO.

With Manny signing, TO cut, and A-rod hurt happening in the same day Roy never had a chance.

I think more are concerned over the TO move because TO was the top player on the offense last year as far as WRs go. He caught more TDs, had more receptions and more yards than anyone else and we cut him.

TO is just a better player and his release is more of a change and shock then releasing Roy Williams.

TO is a media moth and yes some is self inflicted but IMHO the media was always looking for something concerning Owens.....from pulling a hammy and accusing him of faking ...then stating that Owens tried to committ suicide.......it never stopped and IMHO...Jerry got tired of this type of circus.

Roy Williams was a instant hit but drifted away.........rule changes and the way the game is played now has hurt Roy.....

In all honesty....I wouldnt be surprised that players got tired of Roy blaming everyone else when coverage were blown.....

I enjoyed watching Roy his first few years....but after that....It hurt watching him play....

IMHO....I think he lost his love for the game.......

Roy is a great human being and I wish him the best....but he didnt live up to his draft status or the money he was paid

Once Woodson left......Roy was lost....

Well put, but Roy's release was more a matter of when than if. I just think the shock value of TO being released, regardless of how much attention he gets normally, shadowed Roy.

Eh. I think I'd prefer being cut on a day when the focus wouldn't be entirely on my team not wanting me anymore. If RW were retiring, I'd agree with you.
