The Sun-Sentinel reports the Miami Dolphins have signed FS Lance Schulters (Titans) to a one-year contract. Financial terms of the deal were disclosed.

In case anyone cares I heard it was a minimum type deal.

If he is going for the vet min the rest of the league must know something we (as fans) don't. Does he have issues or is he just not that good?

coming off a foot injury that cost him 13 games in '04. I'd wager that is the reason.

I did too.

At the same time im not that disheartened seeing that Scott seemed to solidify the spot last year. We just wore down at the end of games up front.

I like the Killer/Scott/Beriault competition a lot better than I did the Hunter and a prayer debacle at RCB last year.

I am not near as down on Scott as most people here. I really am rooting for Beriault. I think that would be a truly magical story if he were to earn the job.
