Eventually, CeeDee will add the pressure on Dak, assuming he lives up to his billing. Yet, he's still a rookie that must prove himself before that pressure is likely to be recognized as legitimate. I'm personally of the opinion that he'll do just that, although, it remains to be seen. The Cowboys are obviously quite reluctant to grant Dak the level of pay that he and his agent want. This is a story that awaits a result to see what pay level Dak is eventually worth granting. I think those claiming he's a top 5 QB are giving him a prematurely generous benefit of the doubt. (jmho.) Evidently, the Dallas Cowboys agree.
What gets me about Jerrah and the draft..
and Dak and Jerrah
and Dak and CeeDee..
Is that everybody loves what Jerrah did with our draft.
Everybody seems split about Dak and signing him..
and everybody seems excited about Dak and Lamb.
Hello?
Common denominator?
Jerrah.
People who want to attack Jones over his GM guidence or lack of same..
also will begrudgingly say he also gets it right.
Amazing.
I think more credit has to be given to Stephen and Clay and others involved. But they are fine with letting Jerrah get the lionshare.
I guess it's just understood Jerrah pays the bills, takes all the financial risks and gets praise when due.
Had Jimster swallowed his pride better when he left..
that team might have won several times more and Jimster might be competing with Belecheat for all time SB wins.
Hmm...
