Just came back from my (nice)New Year's vacation, and part of the reason that made it stress free was that it was CERTAIN the road to the Super Bowl would go through TX Stadium. So last Sun's game against the Skins was meaningless-big deal.

Now coming on here-is it me, or does this board feel like we've just had another 9-7, annual Dec meltdown season?

Let me repeat-THE ROAD TO THE SUPER BOWL GOES THROUGH TX STADIUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree, I have been lurking around here for the entire season and I can't believe how many people panic when we lose. Especially after a meaningless game, like the one we played Sunday against the Commanders.

Crazy isn't it!!!! You should hear talk radio in DC, they really think that was a quality win. Hey, I know they had to have it and hats off to them gettin it but lets keep things in focus..

You should hear Eagles fans and their media-just b/c they won three MEANINGLESS games in a row, they somehow think they're the best 8-8 team, how they're going to be a force next year, blah, blah, blah.

BTW-the big reason why McFlabb played so well in these 3 games was b/c there was NO pressure-the guy pukes under pressure as we all know.:laugh1:

Yeah, my mom is a Commanders fan and she kept calling me everytime the Commanders scored. When the game was over and she started trying to rub it in that they won I congratulated her and asked her who had the better the record and who needed the game more?

I just tell them congrats but it was MEANINGLESS to us and then I keep it moving. It's hard to argue over something that had no MEANING....

You will have the uber homers and supporters, as well as the ultra pessimistic and doubters.

At the end of the day it was a meaningless game for the Commanders too. As they would have still secured the 6th spot even with a loss. But what did the Bears or Broncos have to play for to stop those other two teams ?

C'mon dude, the Bears and Bronco's didn't have to worry about injury to their players for postseason... Their situation and ours were completely different. MEANINGLESS to us, meant we could gather no more gain to help ourselves in postseason, we could only hurt ourselves with injury. Again, MEANINGLESS!!!

Not really-despite winning three MEANINGLESS games, Eagles fans all of a sudden think they have some freakin' championship team. To clarify-they won three MEANINGLESS games, the pressure was OFF McPuke, but they somehow think this squad is some championship world beater.

If you want to use this logic, then I guess this would make the Bears championship-caliber just b/c they won 2 consecutive games against top NFC opponents.

I know you're just amusing him but the Boyz have MUCH HEART and BRAINS too, thats why we had key players inactive, sat alot of players, and pulled most starters after the 1st series of the 2nd half.. You don't go 13-3 and accomplish the things we did and not have HEART.... Foreskin fans want to believe in that MEANINGLESS win so bad... Unbelievable!!!
