The trailer looks good. My one and only hope is that Bryan Singer can make the movie as dark and edgy as the Age of Apocalypse storyline itself. I'm not certain that he can.

too much cgi in my opinion. but i guess there is no other way to do this storyline. jennifer lawrence's last hurrah, no wolverine, no name storm...im not sure how this will play out... but i will see it.

Too Ivan Oozey looking

I think it will flop. His last X-Men movie really was not good. Just making movies to keep the right, let it revert back to Marvel, or do what Spiderman is doing.

A storyline that should encompass the genocidally brutal takeover over of the world by mutants probably needs a little too much CGI. :p I doubt Singer is that deep creatively.

Ivan Oozey!!! That's pretty good. I'm not certain how any actor or their make up job could do Apocalypse proper justice visually. Hopefully Oscar Isaac can dramatically capture the character's persona. He is a capable actor in my opinion.

I thought X-Men:Days of Future Past was good but that Singer could have made it better. I do agree 100% about Marvel getting the X-Men movie franchise rights back though.

I'm going to wait until DVD for this. I've been extremely underwhelmed with the last 3-4 movies from the X-Men universe.

I love the scene in first class when they find wolverine in the bar trying to recruit him.

His answer: go off yourself!

Lol

What was your opinion of X-Men: First Class? I thought it was the best of the entire line of X-Men movies.

I think it was.

That was a great scene. The best scene for me was the **** coin through the head. How do you defeat/kill a mutant who has absolute mastery over kinetic force? That's how! :D

Wasn't a big fan of it honestly. It wasn't horrible or anything justnot something I came away from the theater satisfied with the $50 I just spent. The 1st and 2nd movies are my favorites and I actually kind of liked the origins movie. Days of future past and The Wolverine were awful to me. Was extremely disappointed.

I agree with East that First Class was the best. To me Origins was the worst, and by a large margin.
