Heath is a good player. IMO, he's going to be better than Wilcox or Church. He's faster than both and a bigger hitter than Church. He plays smart and has come miles since his rookie season.

I'm not sure about Frazier.

I couldnt agree more... I never HATED him like some guys did. I never wanted him cut. Always thought there was something to work with there

Exactly.

I really hope that Heath is not considered the starter after the draft comes around.

He is a good enough player and teams "need" players like him, but they are kidding themselves if they believe he would not be exploited if teams prepared for him.

But looking at the track record Marinelli has demonstrated with devotion to marginal talent like Chris Conte and Major Wright, it wouldn't shock me at all.

Exactly how would teams exploit him? You think they would exploit his range, size, awareness, or what?

Clearly they are going to sign a FA Safety and have Frazier move into the backup spot Wilcox was in. Frazier has the physical skills and is a solid hitter. He can't hit someone hard enough to make them pay JJ Wilcox 8 million dollars, but he can still hit hard.

I didn't. I wanted him to play over Wilcox and Church.
If he could have, he would have. Heath hasnt started, unless injury, in the 4 years hes played. Good special teams player and sub, I like him, but lets be real; starting Heath does not make this teams biggest weakness, the defense, better.

He plays how he plays. The secondary was run like poo until last season and every time Heath gets playing time he turns the ball over.

I like Heath over Wilcox, too.

Team reportedly (Broaddus) wanted to see more of Frazier on ST, too. They're ok rolling into the draft with the current group, though I'm sure they'll look to add a player there.

Losing two players, wheather its a first rounder, mid rounder, late rounder or UDFA, they will add a young safety or two

They pretty much have to. I like moving Heath into Wilcox snaps, but you still lose a Guy as depth. Even if both Heath and Frazier step up, you still need somebody to develop.

At least it's a good draft to add a guy in.

I think you see Frazier as your #4 safety, which got Heath on the field some last year. I think you will see Heath tandemed with either a FA or a draft pick. I can see us signing a guy that we can cut in TC ala Brodney Poole if we draft a player that wins a role.

That 3rd safety spot seems like a high volume role. Wilcox was on the field an awful lot, even with a healthy Church. Jabrill Peppers and Heath could be a very good combo.

Shhhhh everyone is stuck on that 2013 game

And even then, he played better than you'd expect a UDFA rookie from Saginaw Valley State (or is it Grand Valley State? I can't remember) would play. He looks good whenever he plays and when he plays he makes plays. He's more athletic than Church and Wilcox and he's probably just as smart as Church. I want him to start.

Whether or not Frazier is in the coaches' discussion to be a potential starter at SS is not the issue I have with Fisher. Obviously, with not much experience, Frazier is not their ideal choice to be a rock-steady, full-time starter just yet (don't need to pay $5.99 for that hot take)...but how long did other starting SS sit the bench before being a regular? Do they really feel "not confident" about it? More importantly, did they actually voice this to anyone? Is it speculation?

The issue I have is with Fisher constantly projecting on what the organization is feeling.
This D-bag is still looking like a fool for calling multiple failed shots at the Romo situation. Spoiler alert: He doesn't have any real information about what's going on in the organization and is just spit-balling. He's a mediot. An alternative facts dealer. I despise guys like him, Florio and Rappoport because they're throwing crap against the wall in hopes that 20% sticks.

Wait? What? But he posted a photo of him and Jerry over drinks at Jerry's annual training camp cocktail party. Gotta mean he's an insider.

There are several Defensive Backs who are really big freaky athletes in this years Draft. They are projected to make an impact over the next several seasons.

Simply the best and deepest Draft for DBs ever in the NFL....and we need them. If there was a better year for the stars to align, it is upon us in 2017.
