Wait? What? But he posted a photo of him and Jerry over drinks at Jerry's annual training camp cocktail party. Gotta mean he's an insider.
Is that one of the multiple "We broke the story here first, folks" from Mike "Fishdicks" Fisher?

Unrelated but Eagles may be trying to get CB Kyle Fuller in trade. I'd like to see if The Boys could make that happen instead.

Well let's remember they didn't feel great about Dak taking over for Romo initially. Went as far as trading for McCown.

I followed Fisher for about 5 minutes on Twitter, looked at his page or whatever, immediately unfollowed.

He's literally just coasting on re-hashed, and often, really stupid "info". Half his responses are literally just like this, "no they r not comfortable", and then he spazzes out when people question him.

Mike, if you're reading this forum, put some effort into your work.

That being said, I like Heath. Frazier needs snaps. We'll probably take a guy in the draft because it's deep.

I like Heath and think he should be given a shot as a starter, but I think he's a pure FS. The only way I see him starting is if we somehow move Jones back to CB. Otherwise I see him being the dime/nickel back and still playing in a lot of snaps like Wilcox did last year. I'd be surprised if we went with a Jones/Heath duo at safety.

I'll take a hard pass on Peppers in the first round. Super athletic, but not good enough in coverage to be a first round pick at safety. He needs to develop at ONE position

We would have to move up to about the 15 if we were going to even have a chance to pass on Peppers.
He wont be there at 28.
He hasn't played just ONE position because Peppers is the "freak" athlete in this draft, and would be a gift if we somehow drafted him.
Before the Combine we had a chance at 28, but not now.

There are still some serviceable safeties available : McDouglad 26 years old, Webb 31, and McDonald 26.

I'd offer McDonald a 3 year 12.5 mill deal. He's not bad. Maybe better than church and younger.

Why...they're not better than Heath.

One issue is that if you play Heath more in the base defense then you're taking away from his time playing special teams. If Heath can be a solid starter then it's worth it but it's something to keep in mind

Who the heck here really thinks its Frazier over Heath? Heath has looked really good the past couple years. Even in first couple of years the guy was always in position to make the play, just happened to run into the leagues best RB and WR at the top of their elite playing time.

The Cowboys will most likely sign 12-15 UDFA's after the draft. Let one or two of them play special teams. Time for a promotion for
Heath and let him play SS full time. I think he's earned the opportunity and so do the Cowboy's coaches.

On March 12th does is really matter?

I didn't think so.

I don't know. We now have major holes in the secondary and still have a need at DE. We don't have any real money to spend and players that would have fixed either need are off the board.

We are now left with the hope we scrap together some bargain bin guys and then think we'll hit HRs in the draft again and have rookies step in and become instant starters and solid players for us.

That's a risky strategy IMO. So I don't think it's necessarily wrong to be concerned on March 12th about the fact we still aren't sure we can rush the passer AND don't have much of a secondary right now to talk about.

In exchange for what? The Eagles are only offering player for player, which is usually not a good sign for a recent first rounder.

The Bears brought in a lot of corners in free agency so there is a reason they have soured on Fuller. Supposedly, he wasn't trying hard enough to come back from injury.

If they aren't feeling great about what's in house, then they should have ******* resigned church. Idiots.
