Flozell has singlehandedly stopped more drives for us the last two years than any other 3 players combined. Everytime I see a yellow hankie I just know that I'm gonna hear "False start #76...offense" or "Holding #76...offense". People saying he is a top 5 Left tackle makes me want to puke. If he isn't drive blocking someone he is worthless. Sometimes he is worthless doing that! :bang2:

Wow. I can't believe all the positive things coming off this board about injuries to three key members of the team. Nguyen, Crayton and Adams. In my opinion, there isn't one positive thing about any of those injuries.

Weak.

Well....u got your wish....Adams may be overrated but he is ten times better than anything we have.....this is a major blow....our offence will suffer without him in the lineup

We are supposed to be nice and not call people IDIOTS so I won't but man that is one bad post....I never never like seeing a player hurt and for someone to say a player getting hurt is a good thing well I'm not supposed to say it but you get the point your also saying BP and the coaches are morons.... I mean they must think he's pretty good or he wouldn't be out there.

BTW I don't think he's been playing that well either but I still don't want to see him injured...

I think this is not as earth shattering injury - we should be able to adapt.

Flo has been a penalty machine past 2 years and has had some issues that have resulted in blindside shots to Drew.

I think Tucker gets the gig. He played ok yesterday? Can someone review his tape yesterday and objectively grade him out?

Thanks

I have my gripes about Flozell, but he's Top 5 in players we can't afford to lose.

You have no idea what you are talking about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FLO has had way to many penalties, BUT he is MUCH MUCH better then you give him credit for. You obviously will find out what missing a good LT means over the next few weeks. Tucker will get mauled and beaten, not counting his off-sides will more then double Flo's....

do you guys not remember Tucker? We are talking Torrin Tucker...the guy who lost his starting RT job...for many reasons. One being he makes WAY to many mental mistakes. Remember the pre-season game where we were 1st and 50 something...can you say TUCKER.

We can not sit back and hope he works...we must do something...period.

I completely agree. I don't see how you can spin this injury to be anything other than very damaging.

I could understand the Crayton one and even to a small extent Dat Nguyen. But we have NOBODY equipped to protect Drew Bledsoe's blindside in reserve. Not Tucker, not Allen and certainly not some player we just trade for and plug in.

I agree there is nothing positive that comes from losing starting players but just as it has been with Dat someone has to step up and do the job. I know most are not fond of Tucker but he is the guy who will have to do the job and did at least decent yesterday filling in. Price will also have to step in and show he can do the job. I don't think the sky is falling just yet.

:spanking: After looking at your post I am not sure if you will understand the little icon thing. Just so you know you are on the left.

I just think its weak that people look at injury as an opportunity for someone else to play.

If they were good enough to play, they would have been already.

Aside from the guy who started this thread, who has said any of these injuries are positive for the team?

Yeah and I tried to convince myself that Woodson was over the hill and losing him wouldn't effect us that much either.

When you lose good players, it hurts. End of discussion.

In fairness to him, he never said or really implied he was happy Flo was hurt. He only said it wasn't a big deal for the Cowboys as a team.
