How much of a cap hit do we endure if we keep this illegal procedure machine? I for one, am so sick of this guy. Our OL is quickly becoming yet another area that needs upgrading. Sigh.

Understood. Yet another gaffe that was by JJ. Just wondering how the contract was structured. Did he get the huge signing bonus that we'd take the hit on? Somehow I missed the details on this great watershed event.

It's sad to say, but I think the biggest downfall of our team is that most players simply are not smart. I think Adams has a slight excuse because he is deaf (I think), but still, how hard is it to wait until you see the ball snapped to move? It seems pretty elementary to me but for some reason (see the first sentence) it keeps happening time and time again. It really cripples our offense to have to battle 1st and 15 or 1st and 20 every other drive. We just need smarter players.

Who do we replace him with?

Quite frankly almost any journeyman OLman could do just as mediocre at Floozee did last season.

Dude be careful for what you wish for. It's very hard to find a quality LT, I'm thankful we have one. Big Flo damn near played most of the year with one arm and you still didn't hear much from his man. Yeah, he may false start often but he handles his business against the man across from him. I can live with the false starts as long as he continues to block his man. He also did his work with a sorry arse Proctor next to him. Again, be careful of what you wish for..

The guy was playing with practically one arm all year. Can't remember if it was his left or right.

Yeah he has false starts, but is still an above average LT.

Adams is costing us big time. Bench him or toss him to the curb if the guy can't cease being called for false starts multiple times per game, usually at critical points.

I agree, look at the game tapes, you never hear much from Big Flo man.. That gets overlooked by his false starts.. Dude still has game...

The extension has become a liability.
I would hope we could unload this aging, at times indifferent player -- somehow, someway. And go to FA or the draft to try to replace this aging veteran.
Time to reload on the O line.

Agree with you about Proctor. I don't know guy, Flozell is not living up to his big contract in my opinion - but heck, I could say that about all of our roster, with the exception of Witten, Barber and Ware.

I hope we draft his replacement soon, like this year soon.

You really think Barber is worth his contract? I think he is worth about half of what we gave him given that he is not a homerun threat and is not an everydown back.

Oh I think we grossly overpaid Barber. However, the guy, to date anyway, has shown heart - a rarity of this team of "celebrities".
