It's not whether people "love" the guy or not. I'm not seeing much "love" for the guy....but I'm also not seeing anyone give any examples on how this "upgrade" is going to happen.

Drafting a tackle is obviously a priority this year. Expecting one to come in and take over is pretty silly. Paying a quality FA LT is pretty much out of the question....and then there is the fact that Adams' isn't nearly as bad as this thread would suggest.

So yeah, this thread is dumb.

Like I said earlier. Pick your battles. There are WAY more pressing issues to be whining about.

Where did I say that I expected a rookie LT to come in and start? It could happen, but not likely. He's a 10 year veteran still making rookie mistakes. Time to start searching for someone better. He is good, but not great. He can be replaced.

You don't think 9 false starts a season is a problem? With that logic, no wonder you think this is a dumb thread. Not sure what that says about your logic if that is the case. ;)

I simply suggested that there are bigger problems on this team than 9 false starts. Sound logic IMO. If not, then I'll wear my dunce cap with pride.

Because that doesn't fit into the op's agenda. But I'm sure we will get around to him in due time.

I think we have problems on the Oline besides Flozell. I think it's time to replace Flozell, put pressure on Colombo and Gurode. I still remember Kosier being pushed around, however, Procter is so bad, you want Kosier in there even if he does get pushed around.

I think our OLine is also hurt by the play-calling. This huge OLine needs to be running the ball more and passing less. Employ more max-protection schemes, etc.

Solid thoughts all around.

There are too many who look at the 2008 Flo and forgot he played injured. In 2007 he had a great year and proved he was one of the better LT's in the game.

Sorry Flo was not great in 2007 he had the same issues which got masked by Romo 9 false starts and he struggled with speed rushers in 2007 as well.

Which is why I was against bringing him back last year

It's too late to do anything with Flo now..the only thing I can see is a LT beating him out in training camp, or if he gets seriously injured, and I dont wish that on anyone (well...except desean and Mcnabb)

My hope is that we can find a player to take over at LT be it McQ or Free and move Flo to gaurd so that we can keep him without taking the cap hit. I know some will say these 2 guys can't do it I think young players develop and would be more than willing to give them the chance to earn the job.

I'd like to know exactly how many sacks he allowed.

How much of a cap hit do we endure if we keep this illegal procedure machine? I for one, am so sick of this guy. Our OL is quickly becoming yet another area that needs upgrading. Sigh.

so, you have started two threads recently.

One was cut romo

now cut flo.

Awesome ideas.

I said nothing about cutting Romo...I am however getting sick of his poor play down the stretch.

As for Flozell - it's time for him to cease with the rookie mistakes.

Quit lying about what I'm posting.
