Just went back and watched all his plays and did pretty well. He got a nice block in space on the sweep to the left that gained 9 for Felix. Drove his guy off the LOS on a couple running plays that went the other direction.

He really is nice in space when he gets to the second level.

One of the primary reason I'm on CZ all the time is that we've got posters with legitimate access to inside info. Once a source gets established, it just seems silly to 'piss on it' for no reason other than the fact that the source's take is counter to a particular agenda. I have zero doubt that if your source said the team was down on Free, you'd have shared that tidbit, too.

I agree. And I'm betting this was one of the young guys Jerry is talking about getting some playing time in his interview. You're dead on about this one. What is disturbing is I don't know they have another starter in the making on the team on the OL. I'm discounting Brewster here as I don't know he's reviewable.

Can anyone explain why Miles was on the sideline but Tony was still in the game, dropping back? Certainly Tony is the one we can least afford to lose.

On that last drive they were running a lot of 22 personnel (two TE, two RB), which only calls for one WR. The first time they ran it was Roy only. Then they took Roy out too and had Hurd in. On the one play with Roy in the 22 personnel they ran the sweep to Felix to the left. So, no, it had absolutely nothing to do with trying to force it to Roy.

I really have no idea why they would have Romo in the game there, though.
