Yes it's early in the season, yes there's still time to figure a few things out. (Eagle's blitz comes to mind), and yes teams get hot late... (ie. Steelers, Bears, and Skins last year) but in reality, I just don't understand the myriad of botched snaps, missed reads in the red zone and I'm not talking strictly passing game... When Bledsoe and JJ didn't have the same play in mind during a running play last week? WTH??! Is Campo in the coaching booth still??? OOH sorry that was bad!

Just stupid, stupid mistakes over and over... Penalties as of now have been slightly better than when the season began. Any mistake however constantly magnifies the expectations for this season, that seem to be blowing away like sand across the desert... Either it's a penalty to nullify a TD or third down conversion, or giving up a big play, botched snaps or whatever... Is it time to relearn how to focus?

This team on paper has a very solid defense that seems to keep to the same philosophy as to be conservative and keep everything in front of them... This season, I've been really impressed with Ware's play at not letting plays get out past his side, but if being aggressive gives the opposition too much of an opportunity for big plays we shouldn't see the corner blitz again this season...

What's up with this offense too? It looks like the running game is breathing for the first time since the Carolina game last year, but we tell TO, "You aren't going to catch as many passes as a WCO, but you'll make your mark no doubt." The 2 TE set sure hasn't set the passing game on fire, the running game looks good, but I'd still like to see a few more balls thrown Witten's way... hope TO doesn't mind too much.

It's almost like Dallas plays to showcase the talent on offense instead of using it for big plays... We're going to play hog the ball and field position, but don't go make me get the exotic plays out of this suitcase or you're in real trouble buddy!! Heck if it's there use it... Find that timing... I'm thinking of about 25 million reasons.

If they were playing to showcase their talent Romo would be at QB and TO would be lined up in the slot often. I totally agree with the rest of your post. Something is going on behind the scenes and I just cannot put my finger on it. IMO it is originating from Parcells.
