Focusing on Detroit, who do we need to worry about?

On to the next opponent the Det Lions, they have a young stud pass rusher from Michigan (Hutchinson), a GREAT young left tackle, and a RB in Gibbs to me that all of these 3 players are going to be tough. Which players are you concerned about in this upcoming game, PLEASE give your thoughts, we all have them!!!

the lions offense can score in bunches.
defesnsively, they are better vs the run.
this game to me is similar to the steelers game.
we need to do eliminate the penalties and do a better job protecting the ball.
we need to get after goff...make him uncomfortable.
the lions d are ranked 27th in pass yds allowed and 23rd in opponents possessions...so that tells me we will have plenty of opportunities when we have the ball.
we need to take advantage.
i like our chances sunday.

Saw a thread that we'll be wearing our blue jerseys, so anybody on the field wearing a white jersey. j/k

This is not a complex issue calling for a breakdown of players. The jury is out and anyone with eyeballs can see that any team with a formidable will outplay Dak in most cases.

First half drives routinely end in field goals for Dallas. All Detroit has to do is come out and put over twenty points on the board. Any pressure to score 3 or more touchdowns from the opposing offense and Dak will fold like a cheap lawn chair.

Never understood that analogy. Surely folding easily is a desirable thing for a lawn chair, so that would suggest higher quality and more expensive?

They can fold easily when someone of substantial girth is sitting on them. In other words, they can't take much pressure.

We need to keep the score relatively low - like the Steelers game. We'll lose if it becomes a high scoring shoot out. This is an ideal game for a Bill Parcells style win - mistake free football and ball control.

I agree about everything you posted except for eliminating penalties, Cowboys are catching penalties even if they are playing patty cake, so might as well start making the penalties count.
Wheat understands this and so does Buddy Ryan.

I believe in making them pay for every single inch they gain on the field. Say what one may...make them pay!

If you are going to get hit with penalties make them count.
