Why would we handicap ourselves like that? Top of round 2 is a great place to get a pass rusher as well. If Ramsey is there, he's a tough guy to pass on

its the position this team is in right now that handicaps us, Tunsil, Wentz, Ramsey will be the first 3 off the board...that would leave us Bosa, Buckner, Jack or Goff, again i would almost be willing to bet its Bosa or Buckner. Actually I would prefer Buckner over Bosa.

They seem to like Bosa as a 3-4 linebacker and the owner or coach said the scheme is diverse enough that Bosa would be a good fit.

Read some reports comparing him to Clay Matthews. Wouldn't be surprised if a team saw the same thing

In that scenario, if we stay at 4, I'm all in on Jack

If Tenn keeps the pick (I think they will) they have a scrawny QB to protect. I think they have to take Tunsil.

Agreed. To make the investment that they made in a QB and not make the investment to protect him would be stupid on an epic level. The only way this could have fallen more perfectly for them is if Tunsil would have been available last year and Marriota was available this year. Blind side protection may have bought Marriota a couple more games last season.

If Browns are looking for a QB to compete against RG3 for starter then they take Goff over Wentz

Well they're going to say he's going to compete no matter what. I think griffin allows them to take wentz who can sit a bit, rather than Goff would probably be closer to ready. Either way, I would be shocked if rg3 doesn't start there no matter what.

Browns already told RG3 he would have to compete against a high draft pick. I see them taking Goff being he is more pro ready and Griffin was beat out by low round guys. I don't think he starts 100 percent and browns know his injury history

I mean I hope so. I like Goff too, but I know this team probably wouldn't pass on wentz if he fell to us. But I could see someone trading the Chargers a 2nd round to move up and take him.

I have no idea where Vernon Butler is picked in the real draft but after reading Bob Strum's
report on him I'm very high on this guy. Never saeen a draft so fluid. I dont think he'll be there in the second

Got a link for these rumors or are they your orginal thoughts?

Most of that stuff we knew at least two weeks ago.

Gathered them from BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1, which seems to keep a running list of rumors for each team from various listed sources.

Most likely be more then a 2nd with wentz on the board. I'm not a fan of QB at 4 given what's there. I much rather take Lynch at the end of the 1st round. We talking about developing a QB and Lynch has the highest upside of all the QBs

Lynch getting past the Jets at 20 is a real issue.

I will be Jimmy Johnson's gone level pissed if we don't go QB with the 1st round pick. Terence Newman will look like my blood brother in comparison to the hate I'll spew towards whoever is the eventual player added.

It suddenly occurred to me that Goff being picked right after Jack could lead to some seriously great unintentional comedy on the live telecasts when they read the order.
